Will Parks[edit]

Please until the Chiefs announce the transaction to update the page.--Rockchalk717 19:26, 5 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

It has been confirmed leave the update Derwood1558 (talk) 19:27, 5 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

It’s not confirmed until THE CHIEFS announce it. Leave it alone until then.--Rockchalk717 19:31, 5 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Really stop reversing my edit Derwood1558 (talk) 19:32, 5 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

They will but it's been confirmed leave it alone Derwood1558 (talk) 19:32, 5 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Arrowhead Pride on Twitter has confirmed it Derwood1558 (talk) 19:34, 5 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Arrowhead Pride is not a reliable source and is not affiliated with the Chiefs in anyway shape or form.--Rockchalk717 20:18, 5 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

A verified sports page isn't a reliable source how is that even possible Derwood1558 (talk) 20:20, 5 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

It’s basically a blog and it’s a consensus that it’s not reliable. For the final time: until THE CHIEFS confirm it on THEIR WEBSITE or on THEIR TWITTER it’s not confirmed.--Rockchalk717 20:24, 5 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

It's confirmed I'll keep changing it back I don't care what you say Derwood1558 (talk) 20:26, 5 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

A, no it’s not. B, that’s an open threat to edit war which can and will result in a block.--Rockchalk717 20:27, 5 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not threatening anything I'm just updating a page to true Derwood1558 (talk) 20:29, 5 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Saying you will continue to revert to a version that is a violation of Wikipedia policy (editing a player’s page before the team confirms it) is threatening an WP:WAR. I have advised you what the policy is and you are intentionally ignoring it.--Rockchalk717 20:45, 5 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

It's fact that he has signed with the team Adam Schefter confirmed it and he is what you would say is a reliable source you are the one wrongfully changing the page Derwood1558 (talk) 20:53, 5 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

You are not getting the issue. Wikipedia policy AND consensus dictates that we wait until the team makes an official announcement or the transaction appears on the waiver wire. Neither of these have happened yet. It doesn’t matter how many NFL Insiders “confirm” it, policy says we wait until the announcement.--Rockchalk717 21:08, 5 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

So not only has the reliable source of Arrowhead Pride has confirmed it so did a reliable person in the business Derwood1558 (talk) 20:54, 5 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Notice of edit warring noticeboard discussion[edit]

Information icon Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion involving you at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring regarding a possible violation of Wikipedia's policy on edit warring. Thank you. Rockchalk717 20:34, 5 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

May 2021[edit]

Stop icon with clock
You have been blocked from editing from certain pages (Will Parks) for a period of 48 hours for edit warring. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  331dot (talk) 21:00, 5 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

You cannot impose your will by fiat. Wikipedia is a collaborative effort where you must discuss things with other editors and achieve a consensus. Threats like this do not help. 331dot (talk) 21:02, 5 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

My information was correct the person who complained was wrongfully changing my edits Derwood1558 (talk) 21:31, 5 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Please see WP:WAR and WP:SPORTSTRANS for explanations why your were edits weren’t correct since you don’t seem to be understanding a word I’m saying to you as far as why your edits were against policy.--Rockchalk717 21:41, 5 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Derwood1558, if that's true, and I'm not saying it is- there are proper procedures to follow. The other user has pointed out relevant policies to you. Please read them. 331dot (talk) 23:25, 5 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
