Information icon Hello, I'm Belbury. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Dubai Marina have been undone because they appeared to be promotional. Hello Belbury, I found the Dubai Marina area guide on Bayut quite informational and detailed that's why used it as a reference. Can you please share the reason why it is not an independent source, because I didn't find it promotional or from a profit perspective. Devansh.Supramind (talk) 11:02, 11 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I am just trying to understand which sources I can use and which I cannot. And how can I make sure that the source I'm using is the right one? Devansh.Supramind (talk) 11:04, 11 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The issue was mostly the heavily promotional style of writing (eg. With so many luxury brands and high-street businesses, Dubai Marina Mall and Ibn Battuta Mall appeal to shopaholics.), but yes, you should also use reliable secondary sources rather than real estate websites. Sure, thanks for the info and help, really appreciate it. I will definitely take care of that in future edits that I'll do. Devansh.Supramind (talk) 12:28, 11 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
