SPAM[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used as a platform for advertising or promotion, and doing so is contrary to the goals of this project. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you.

All of your over 100 edits to 17 pages have been to specifically promote a person as his PR agent. This is not in keeping with WP:SPAM. Objective3000 (talk) 11:05, 5 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

A tag has been placed on Oak Park Hall of Fame requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, individual animal(s), an organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject of the article is important or significant: that is, why an article about it should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you can assert the notability of the subject, . Clicking that button will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the article's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. You may freely add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

See the guidelines for specific types of articles: biographies, websites, bands, or companies. Mean as custard (talk) 21:27, 11 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Reply & PS[edit]

Hi again! I left a response for you on my talk page but forgot to mention one last thing: you should edit your user page with some information about yourself (doesn't have to be super personal or anything, just maybe some info about what articles/topics you're interested in and what you've done so far). One of the ways Wikipedians suss out who's here to do good work and who's here to cause trouble is by looking for red (unedited) user pages, which may indicate short-term troublemakers. It'll help you look like less of a newbie to have a blue user page :)

Thanks again for your contributions and hope you stick around! --Accedie (talk) 20:06, 20 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
