Welcome!

Hello, Dillonraphael, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as INKAS Armored Vehicle Manufacturing, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines, and may soon be deleted.

There's a page about creating articles you may want to read called Your first article. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on this page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on INKAS Armored Vehicle Manufacturing, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. WuhWuzDat 18:37, 19 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with INKAS Armored Vehicle Manufacturing. Please use the {{hangon}} template on the page instead if you disagree with the deletion, and make your case on the page's talk page. Thank you. WuhWuzDat 18:42, 19 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Nomination of INKAS Armored Vehicle Manufacturing for deletion

[edit]

A discussion has begun about whether the article INKAS Armored Vehicle Manufacturing, which you created or to which you contributed, should be deleted. While contributions are welcome, an article may be deleted if it is inconsistent with Wikipedia policies and guidelines for inclusion, explained in the deletion policy.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/INKAS Armored Vehicle Manufacturing until a consensus is reached, and you are welcome to contribute to the discussion.

You may edit the article during the discussion, including to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. WuhWuzDat 20:13, 19 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Armoured fighting vehicle. While objective prose about beliefs, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you. WuhWuzDat 20:16, 19 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • Regarding the duration of the deletion discussion: it's normally seven days, though it's entirely possible that it could get relisted for another seven to get a wider consensus. —C.Fred (talk) 20:04, 22 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Dillon. I noticed you were trying to move the article you had been working on into your own user namespace to work on. Only your move still kept it in the main namespace. So, I took the liberty of moving it for you. It is located at User:Dillonraphael/INKAS Armored Vehicle Manufacturing. — SpikeToronto 05:24, 2 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Hey Dillon! When you add comments to a talk page, you need to indent. It makes discussion threads easier to follow. Take a look at Help:Using talk pages#Indentation and Wikipedia:Tutorial (Talk pages)#Indenting for how to do this. Also, take a look at Wikipedia:Indentation for some further illustrations. Thanks! — SpikeToronto 17:23, 27 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
