[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from Igbo people. When removing text, please specify a reason in the edit summary and discuss edits that are likely to be controversial on the article's talk page. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the text has been restored, as you can see from the page history. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Igboland map

[edit]

Your edits on the map of Igboland were not helpful, please desist from editing maps such as this if you do not have the proper sources to back them up (which this map does) and if you do not have the appropriate software to edit the maps. Ukabia (talk) 14:05, 12 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Ikwerre-Igbo

[edit]

What you term as "gross misinformation" is actually information that is proven to be fact in many books and reliable sources. There are no reliable sources that clearly point out that the Ikwerre are not an Igbo sub-group. Politics should not be a deciding factor in the editing of wikipedia because it is supposed to be a fair, balanced and reliable source of information. It is really quite disappointing when a group who shares every single aspect of their being with another group boldly denies and connection with them because of politics. Ukabia (talk) 14:10, 12 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop. If you continue to blank out or delete portions of page content, templates or other materials from Wikipedia, as you did to Ikwerre, you will be blocked from editing.
Idem for Ikwerre language. Stop removing the relationship of the Ikerre to the Igbo. Wikipedia is not a propaganda place to publitize your ideas about how things should be. There are reliable sources stating very clearly that the relationship exists and that it is strong. --Enric Naval (talk) 19:12, 19 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I reported your reversions at the edit warring noticeboard here.
Please take the time to read Wikipedia:NPOV_dispute#POV_pushing so you can know better what I am talking about when I complain of "POV pushing". --Enric Naval (talk) 10:07, 21 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Signature

[edit]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --Ankimai (talk) 17:29, 12 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
