Why Dumb it Down?[edit]

I had no choice but to undo your changes DinkyHugh. WHY? What had been added was superior and more precise use of the ciations, new citations and references, better and additional pictures (and better organization of them - the previous tank picture was very poor), better organization of the article and much more new information, especially adding India Nicky Toys to the section of global influence of Dinky. Any new info. is great and let's move forward with editing this article, but just dumping someone else's hard work is improper - and my pictures were very good. What was there, previous to my many edits, was great, but the page was becoming something much better.--Cstevencampbell (talk) 14:15, 13 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Dublo Details[edit]

I've noticed that you have specific information about the issues of particular models. Perhaps you were an employee or have a particular book that contains this information? Could you add a reference for some of these issues - I can help you place and clean up the reference, if needed. If material does not stabilize and is not referenced in this (and other) sections - it may be removed, by someone who questions its validity. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, I restored the removed content. Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Dinky Toys, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you. Dinky Toys[edit]

Please stop adding your personal critique of content to the article. No-one is reading the article to hear your opinion of it. The article is also not a collectors' catalogue. Whether the example shown is of quality desirable to a collector is of less importance than whether it gives a good representation of how the toy looks.
