SuggestBot picks articles in a number of ways based on other articles you've edited, including straight text similarity, following wikilinks, and matching your editing patterns against those of other Wikipedians. It tries to recommend only articles that other Wikipedians have marked as needing work. Your contributions make Wikipedia better -- thanks for helping.

If you have feedback on how to make SuggestBot better, please tell me on SuggestBot's talk page. Thanks from ForteTuba, SuggestBot's caretaker.

Invitation to events: bot, template, and Gadget makers wanted[edit]

I thought you might want to know about some upcoming events where you can learn more about MediaWiki customization and development, extending functionality with JavaScript, the future of ResourceLoader and Gadgets, the new Lua templating system, how to best use the web API for bots, and various upcoming features and changes. We'd love to have power users, bot maintainers and writers, and template makers at these events so we can all learn from each other and chat about what needs doing.

Check out the Chennai event in March, the Berlin hackathon in June, the developers' days preceding Wikimania in July in Washington, DC, or any other of our events.

Best wishes! - Sumana Harihareswara, Wikimedia Foundation's Volunteer Development Coordinator. Please reply on my talk page, here or at mediawiki.org. Sumanah (talk) 15:06, 16 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Ladino Projects[edit]

Hi Dionysia,
I noticed in your languages subpage that one of your mother tongues is Judeo-Spanish. I also learned it at home from my grandparents. Today unfortunately the language is dying and I'm trying to keep it alive, vibrant! I'm an admin in the Ladino Wikipedia and we're also trying to create a Ladino Wiktionary, which is right now in the Incubator. I would like to invite you to join one or both projects. They're a bit messy right now, but we're trying to organise them. You wouldn't need to do much anything unless you didn't want or have the time. But it would be nice to have you around. :) Friendly --Universal Life (talk) 06:52, 14 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

You are invited to join WikiProject Haiti, an outreach effort which aims to support development of Haiti related articles in Wikipedia. We thought you might be interested, and hope that you will join us. If you'd like to join, please sign up here. L'union fait la force! Thanks!

Hi Dionysia, I noticed that you are a ht-1 speaker (excellent!) and that your family hails from News Orleans! Historically, there has always been a big cultural relationship and thought I'd at least extend the invite to a completely revamped WikiProject Haiti. Cheers!
