Question about Jeremy Lesniak
[edit]- Was just curious as to why you marked that for deletion? He's pretty much as famous as anyone would need to be, in Vermont anyway, for the work he's done with the community both with his company, VCI, and outside of it.
Would it be possible to get that article a {{hangon}}
so that someone may clarify?

List of bands from Illinois
[edit]Dipics.. there was an article there recently... i am trying to figure out why it was deleted... actually there was a list for every state in the country and they are all gone.. why??? Xsxex 14:29, 3 July 2006 (UTC)
Dipics yeah just delete it.. ive heard about this 'movement' to delete lists but im just upset that there was no notification or potential to engage in a discussion. i dont know who to talk to about these issues. wikipedia is a wonderful resource but sometimes it is really frustrating. Regarding Aspe (musician)
[edit]Hi there! I'm Coldstream, the writer of the 'Aspe (musician)' page. I;m just posting here to apologies for removing your deletion tag - I was editing the page at the time, and as such didn;t realise it was there 'till I saved it. I've replaced it with another deletion tag, but whether you want to change that or not is up to you.
Sorry once again.

Rorrie Dimitrioss
[edit]Why are you marking this for deletion?
Mehta
[edit]Thank you. It showed on my screen as a normal page when I tagged it, presumably because of ISP or telephonic delay somewhere. I would not, of course, tag a userpage.--Anthony.bradbury 20:45, 12 July 2006 (UTC)
I noticed, thanks for that!

Speedy deletion
[edit]===>Marcelo Rezende Vanity pages are a reason for speedy deletion (A7). -Justin (koavf), talk, mail 21:23, 13 July 2006 (UTC)
===>You got me And I stand corrected myself. Thanks. -Justin (koavf), talk, mail 21:37, 13 July 2006 (UTC)
I feel as if the page should be up for deletion it is purley spam and an obvious attemped gain clients for freelance photography work. This is nothing more than an advertisment
Sparse Bio
[edit]- Does a sparse bio make someone any less notable? If the page doesn't go anywhere, I could see grounds for deletion. Perhaps you were a bit 'speedy'. --Siokaos 04:19, 14 July 2006 (UTC)
That's okay. Personally, I think blatant spamvertisement articles should be subjected to speedy deletion, but if it's your policy, I have nothing against it. Cheers, Tangotango 05:46, 15 July 2006 (UTC)
- Hmm :( too bad. Anyway, thanks for pointing that out. Best regards, Tangotango 04:59, 16 July 2006 (UTC)
Fair Enough
[edit]Perhaps I should criticize the WP:BIO and not your call. Wikipedia is not home for personal bios, but Jeff has particular relevance in our valley. It's not that he's popular, it's that he's signifigant. Big difference. --Siokaos 18:48, 15 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit]Hello! Was there a reason for this edit? muriel@pt 10:27, 18 July 2006 (UTC)

Prod
[edit]How do you use that "prod" template, as on Bryan properties? I tried to figure it out but didn't know how to get the time/date stamp to work. --Bookgrrl 02:07, 27 July 2006 (UTC)
Nomination conflict
[edit]Sorry about that. Edit conflict and I think I got confused. Wasn't aware my tag was still there...will go clean it up. Thanks for the heads up! --Gekedo 14:20, 28 July 2006 (UTC)

Wikipedians FROM Texas

Coffee's for closers
[edit]My apologies, I thought that if I cited the sources and credited the writer it is not copyright violation since the scene was taken from this website and not the script itself. I removed the scene and AfD. Cheers. Valoem talk 14:13, 29 August 2006 (UTC)
my appologies
[edit]Hello Dipics, I appologize, I may have accidentally deleted the tag for speedy deletion a second time. I think I may have mis-read the instructions, I hit 'back' on my browser but to no avail. Once again, sorry.

[edit]It happens I was on last night when some guy kept removing all the pictures. (In his unblock request he claims he wanted a clean prinout for his kid, and didn't realize he was updating the "real" copy.) So I knew it was in good shape right after he was blocked. Please consider also warning vandals
[edit]Thank you for reverting vandalism on Wikipedia. Could you also please consider using our vandal warning system [1]? First offenses get a "test1," then a "test2," followed by a "test3" and "test4." At the end of this, if the vandal persists, he or she merits blocking for a period of time. If you do this, it will greatly help us in decreasing vandalism on Wikipedia. Much thanks, -- Kukini 00:13, 6 October 2006 (UTC)
- No worries...it just allows us to clamp down on repeat offenders...and HOPEFULLY encourages some people to desist from unproductive edits. Happy editing! Kukini 03:31, 6 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit]You left me a short note on my talk page back in June. I just cleaned my page up and only now noticed your note (it was a busy month). I was in B/55 from 85-89, so I might have run into you. --Gadget850 ( Ed) 18:15, 14 November 2006 (UTC)
Stefany Singh
[edit]I removed the speedy tag you placed, even though ultimately I think the article will be deleted. The debate is over on Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Stefany Singh. --cholmes75 (chit chat) 17:06, 18 November 2006 (UTC)
User TheThing88
[edit]Do you think that Larry Cochell used racial slurs, as well as making racial remarks, in his interview with two different ESPN reporters before the Wichita State Game? I think he used both racial remarks and racial slurs. But I wouldn't change your entry on Larry. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Thething88 (talk • contribs) 05:26, 9 January 2007 (UTC).
I think that I messed up my entry on Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Log/2007 June 5 for Projected image digital. I have no idea how to fix it, any help would be appreciated. Dipics 18:19, 5 June 2007 (UTC)

TDOF
[edit]Hi there; I do not think that this article qualifies for a {{speedy}} delete, although I do not think it qualifies for an encyclopedia entry either. I have removed your tag and replaced it with a {{prod}}.--Anthony.bradbury 20:31, 7 June 2007 (UTC)
- Ignore my comment - another admin has deleted it anyway!--Anthony.bradbury 20:33, 7 June 2007 (UTC)
Tagging of Fighting for G.O.D. (Gold, Oil, and Drugs)
[edit]I recently removed a speedy delete tag that you had placed on Fighting for G.O.D. (Gold, Oil, and Drugs). I do not think that Fighting for G.O.D. (Gold, Oil, and Drugs) fits any of the speedy deletion criteria because This describes a product (specifically, a book) but not in a blatently promotional way. It may not be notable, but if so AfD or {{Prod}} is the way to go, not speedy delete, IMO. I request that you consider not re-tagging Fighting for G.O.D. (Gold, Oil, and Drugs) for speedy deletion without discussing the matter on the appropriate talk page. DES (talk) 23:50, 20 June 2007 (UTC)
EO2
[edit]Execuse me but I have just created the article EO2. It has been marked for deletion in 10 seconds after the page was created. I haven't even gotten a chance to put the info in. I am removing the tag since the tagging is obviously rushed. Benjwong (talk) 20:49, 26 December 2007 (UTC)
- I have put some info into the page. Please take a look. Benjwong (talk) 21:39, 26 December 2007 (UTC)
Help
[edit]{{helpme}}
I am attempting to correct an odd error in the article Narrow gauge railway. Under the Italy section, it reads "with 950 mm (2 ft 13⅜ in) gauge". Now, since there are only 12" in one foot, this would seem an odd way to put it. I attempted to correct it but when I looked at the editing page, the conversion seems to be calculated automatically. Thought I should bump this up when I saw that.
- Fixed in [[Template:950mm]]. Bovlb (talk) 16:39, 29 February 2008 (UTC)
Recent Speedy Delete noms
[edit]Just an FYI, you put "non-notable ad" on a book. Actually, it's not even an ad, it's a vandal by the name of User:Randy Jaiyan now disrupting Wikipedia as LeoJai (talk · contribs). He's an odd person and has about two dozen socks. I'm watching his behavior because the articles he's creating are based on a fictional character on a soap. Not all there, that one, that's for sure. TOMS SHOES reincarnates as TOMS Shoes
[edit]FYI, back in 2006 you voted in a unanimous AfD DELETE for TOMS SHOES, which has attempted at least twice to re-emerge with virtually no changes. It is now back again as TOMS Shoes. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. New deal for page patrollers
[edit]Hi Dipics,
In order to better control the quality of new pages, keep out the spam, and welcome the genuine newbies, the current system we introduced in 2011 is being updated and improved. The documentation and tutorials have also been revised and given a facelift. Most importantly a new user group New Page Reviewer has been created.
Under the new rule, you may find that you are temporarily unable to mark new pages as reviewed. However, this is nothing to worry about - most current experienced patrollers are being accorded the the new right without the need to apply, and if you have significant previous experience of patrolling new pages, we strongly encourage you to apply for the new right as soon as possible - we need all the help we can get, and we are now providing a dynamic, supportive environment for your work.
Find out more about this exiting new user right now at New Page Reviewers and be sure to read the new tutorial before applying. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 04:28, 13 November 2016 (UTC)
