Unreferenced BLPs[edit]

Hello Djpmapleferryman! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 941 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

  1. David J. Patterson - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL

Thanks!--DASHBot (talk) 07:39, 17 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not introduce links in actual articles to draft articles, as you did to David J. Patterson. Since a draft is not yet ready for the main article space, it is not in shape for ordinary readers, and links from articles should not go to a draft. Such links are contrary to the Manual of Style. These links have been removed. Thank you. - Arjayay (talk) 08:45, 8 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Cross-namespace wikilinks[edit]

I notice that you created a link from David J. Patterson to a draft article at Draft:Global Names Architecture. This was removed with the explanation that such links are not allowed, yet you immediately replaced it. This could be considered to be disruptive editing or even edit warring. Neither is a good idea. Another bad idea is to edit your own Wikipedia bio page, as your username suggests you are doing (with all consideration to Wikipedia's outing policy). If that is not the case, you might wish to explain on your user page to prevent any misunderstandings. If it is the case you should, at a minimum, declare a conflict of interest so that everything is as transparent as possible. Lithopsian (talk) 17:40, 16 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

November 2021[edit]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at David J. Patterson, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. If Patterson has gained Irish citizenship, you will need to provide sources to back that up.C.Fred (talk) 00:30, 29 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm Sea Cow. I noticed that you made a change to an article, After Life (TV series), but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Sea Cow (talk) 20:10, 15 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Nature's envelope moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Nature's envelope, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more in-depth coverage about the subject itself, with citations from reliable, independent sources in order to show it meets WP:GNG. It should have at least three. And please remember that interviews, as primary sources, do not count towards GNG.(?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.Onel5969 TT me 15:48, 6 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
