Week 2: Evaluating an Article[edit]

Hi David, I see that you have done the training and tutorials but you have yet to finish evaluating an article. KHillWells (talk) 13:39, 17 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Week 7 Feedback[edit]

Hi David,

  • I don't see that you edited much this week so keep working on it.
  • This article is in pretty good shape but I know you can make it even better.
  • I see that you found some decent sources. I think finding reliable literature on this topic (like textbooks) will be hard so I think websites will be your best bet
  • I would like to see more information about the history of this movement, some of the participation activities, and maybe the effects that this celebration has had on society and wetland conservation.
  • I think the section called "Partnership" is super weird and I am not sure why it is even there. What does it have to do with partnership? I think knowing that there is a collection of outreach materials is good but maybe the section name should be changed, or this information should be incorporated elsewhere.
  • Remember to publish your changes frequently when you edit and every time you do, write a summary of what you did, so that someone can follow along. When you answer any of my comments here, make sure to use the colon to start your answer. This will indent your text so it can be easily differentiated from mine. Good luck KHillWells (talk) 15:59, 10 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Week 8 Evaluation[edit]

Hi David! I think this article is off to a good start, but more information could be added about the holiday and what goes along with it. I think you should continue to elaborate on the information that is already there, and add new information as well. Maybe you could add information about different aspects of the holiday that differ throughout the world in different countries. Keep adding information!! Good Luck! Peer Review - MarkYWells[edit]

Hi David!

I think that you have a really cool topic picked out for your article. I did not know that there was a World Wetlands Day. I think that you have a good start on the article. Some additional information that you could possibly add could be more stuff about what has happened on this day. Things such as larger organizations or people that have a part in this day would be interesting.

The section about the photo contest is interesting because it shows a specific event that happens on this day. I would say that you have a very good article going and keep working to add information! good job!
