Thank you for the copyediting. Alientraveller 16:14, 29 June 2007 (UTC)

If you're still around and retain any interest, would you mind weighing in on this—Wikipedia:Images and media for deletion/2007 August 21#Image:EvelynBrent1.jpg—however you see fit? Thanks much, Dan—DCGeist 00:02, 23 August 2007 (UTC)

Oy, actually there seems to be a concerted effort to undermine the article. These images are also under attack: Wikipedia:Images and media for deletion/2007 August 23#Image:CowboyCopPoster.jpg‎; Wikipedia:Images and media for deletion/2007 August 23#Image:TarzanGoldenLion.jpg‎; Wikipedia:Images and media for deletion/2007 August 23#Image:FredThomsonFBO.jpg‎. Well...if you have the time and energy--I'm trying to muster it myself.—DCGeist 04:12, 23 August 2007 (UTC)
Thanks much for contributing to the discussion. Let me know if there's anything I can help you out with at any point. Best, Dan.—DCGeist 17:33, 25 August 2007 (UTC)

Deletion of ALE-Uniform-BAL.PNG

This image, which we fought for, and which we proved belonged, was quickly deleted under false premises by an deletionist ally of those who fought for deletion. I'm beginning discussion for action at Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Baseball#Uniform_Images. It would be appreciated if you would join the cause.--Silent Wind of Doom 18:40, 6 September 2007 (UTC)

I also believe the Carell image was deleted unfairly, and am bringing it to review as well. See Wikipedia:Deletion_review#Image:Carellcolbert_ds.jpg —Preceding unsigned comment added by Silent Wind of Doom (talkcontribs) 03:01, 7 September 2007 (UTC)

WikiProject Filmmaking Announcement

A PROPOSED PROJECT MERGER with WikiProject Films is under consideration. All opinions and questions are strongly encouraged! Girolamo Savonarola 01:18, 9 September 2007 (UTC)

Another one to look at

Wikipedia:Deletion_review#Image:KinseyTIME.jpg. I believe the image was deleted entirely against the clear language and spirit of our deletion policy and guidelines. I'm pretty sure you know what an issue this is. Best, D—DCGeist 06:46, 11 September 2007 (UTC)

Film noir

My apologies if I was falsely insinuating you were a sockpuppet over on the film noir talk page. Can I assume, then, that you are someone who frequently collaborates with DCGeist? PBP (talk) 01:40, 13 June 2008 (UTC)

Notability of Punk rock in Spain

A tag has been placed on Punk rock in Spain requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. ←Signed:→Mr. E. Sánchez Get to know me! / Talk to me!←at≈:→ 18:57, 31 August 2008 (UTC)

WikiProject Films coordinator elections - voting now open!

Girolamo Savonarola (talk) 21:40, 17 September 2008 (UTC)

Hi there, are you thinking of nominating this article as a Featured article candidate? I certainly think it is good enough and if you haven't done this before it is an interesting experience. Tim Vickers (talk) 16:29, 23 September 2008 (UTC)

Most of the size is references, the readable text is about 75 kb, which should be acceptable. Tim Vickers (talk) 16:47, 23 September 2008 (UTC)

Unites States is not the sole superpower

I disagree with your undo under the United States article, the US can't be a sole superpower. I have read articles from the last 5 months how Russia has become a superpower again, so I disagree with calling the US a sole superpower as this is not the truth. Just to make things a little clear on my end, I found these sources on Russia.

A Superpower Is Reborn : The New York Times : By RONALD STEEL : August 24, 2008 : http://www.nytimes.com/2008/08/24/opinion/24steel.html

Superpower swoop : By Misha Glenny : New Statesman : August 14 2008 : http://www.newstatesman.com/europe/2008/08/georgia-russia-ukraine-cheney

US worries Russia returning to authoritarian past : By the Associated Press : August 15, 2008 : http://wokv.com/common/ap/2008/08/17/D92K3M7O0.html

Russians are confident their nation is back as a Superpower New York Times : By Anne Barnard : August 15, 2008 : http://www.boston.com/news/world/europe/articles/2008/08/15/russians_are_confident_their_nation_is_back/

I will change the content back to superpower or maybe great power as the US is in a financial melt down as you have not discussed your undo under the discussions page, you have not provided any new facts but old articles from the 1990's.

--Benhound (talk) 06:50, 16 October 2008 (UTC)

United States - Popular media: paragraph needs refs

I placed the {{fact}} tags because of the small editwar (of which you were a part) over the inclusion of Cher in the last sentence. What about Frank Sinatra? I guess the "detailed information" that might need support is the inclusion of specific artists as illustrative of the U.S.'s world influence. --Evb-wiki (talk) 16:53, 21 October 2008 (UTC)

Fweeeee! Edit war!

Look, there really was consensus to remove it. Fabricating your own, solo consensus to override that and conduct an edit war does nobody any favors. I don't care though; you want to edit war ad infinitum, be my guest. I don't care about the article. Enjoy! --Hammersoft (talk) 22:35, 23 October 2008 (UTC)

October 2008

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Punk rock. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. If necessary, pursue dispute resolution. ~ L'Aquatique[talk] 00:19, 24 October 2008 (UTC)
