A tag has been placed on The Acts and Monuments requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.) or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Vrenator talk 10:29, 19 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I see what you're trying to do on that page. It will just take some work merging Foxe's Book of Martyrs in, bringing the writing in line with "house style", and doing the topic justice. Charles Matthews (talk) 12:07, 12 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I've included a couple of title/frontispiece pages in The Acts and Monuments, and have been "bold" (as WP has it) and created a rough draft of a table to summarize basic facts about the various editions - I'm sure Mr Foxe and Charles Matthews among others could improve it greatly, but I hope y'all like the basic concept, and perhaps it's a start towards merging the articles. Jan 2013 Re Frontispiece[edit]

I aim to upload original coloured woodcut impress of 'capital letter cee' froom Acts and Moonuments (1570). The image is certainly in fair use, if not free domain - eg. the image was inserted (not at my request)into my article, 'Community of the Texts: Producing the first and second Acts and Monuments (1563 annd 1570", by the editor at Sixteenth century Journal, with no acknowledgement or ciation.

The original woodcut impression is black ink on white paper. I coloured it in as an undergrad. I used the coloured image as the fronticeepiece for my Honours paper (1991) and for my Dissertation (2002), with no other reference than to Oastler, whose description is in the caption. The captionn also notes that the figures were nand coloured by me --

Having now also used it in my Disseration and I gave copies as souvenits and reminders of the complexity of our topic at the thid Foxe Congress (Boston, Eng. July 2001 . I have somee claim to this specific images as it is colouts. It seems to me that if there's an impediment to using this versionn of the print it would be because its mine. As I see it, Only I have licence to publish this version.

I want it in place now because I intend to post to Wiki part two of the story of Foxe\'Foxe' and how a nice 20th cemtury hisotorigraphical subject became a 21st century, or "CE3"* object.

I'm not sure how to do this, but I'll give it a try. (upload image to Article: A M

I need a person who can help me (and the 'bot' in the message below) to know if it's okay for WIKI to display the 'dedication' page woodcut letter 'cee' (original black/white woodcut image, hand coloured by the author of 'Reflexive Foxe: The Book of Martyrs Transformed'). It is the frontispiece for my Honours paper (1989)and Diss (2002). The image is included (uncoloured)in my published article, 'Communities of the Texts..." Sixteenth Century Journal XXXVI,3, fall 2005, on page 709, with no provenance or plagiarism concerns. Please advise. I've downloaded a copy for your interest. If I can, I'll upload the image -- it's so much better in colour. Docdev (talk) 04:10, 12 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Reflisr requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that your page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the page be "userfied" or emailed to you. Cabe6403 (TalkSign) 09:10, 19 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I understand that the article is too long and has mark up and other technical problems that may be fixed. I can cerainly make it shorter by putting the leadership section in 'transflrmational Leadership' at WIKIsite--which would benefit, I think, from ythe addition.

I am qite unwell just now, but will get to it.

Meanwhile I have a shorter article that may have a problem because there is some syntheis. May I post it to someone for advice?

Hello Docdev. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "Transformational Learning".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Transformational Learning}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save page", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. HasteurBot (talk) 10:00, 5 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
