The article Animexx has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done because the article seemed to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, but it did not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the notability of the subject may be deleted at any time. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources.

Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and for specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for musicians, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. NawlinWiki (talk) 15:12, 29 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If you can find reliable independent sources to show this group's notability per WP:WEB, feel free to repost. NawlinWiki (talk) 15:27, 29 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
You think the informations given by the Website may be wrong? (well, the online members will indeed be not that much, but many in anyway) Greetings --Don-kun (talk) 15:29, 29 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
And of course they hold one of the biggest conventions in Germany, the Connichi. For cooperation with Egmont see [1]. They are even mentioned in diploma thesis like [2] and [3] or Articles like [4], [5], [6], [7]. Greetings --Don-kun (talk) 15:51, 29 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Animexx is one of the 200 most visited websites in Germany and thus relevant. See [8]. --Shikeishu (talk) 16:48, 29 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I think Animexx well known for being one of the biggest (the biggest) anime/manga communities in germany. As the initiator behind the Connichi and the Deutsche Cosplaymeisterschaft (engl. "german cosplay championship"), together with Frankfurter Buchmesse it should be more then relevant. --Niabot (talk) 10:29, 30 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Can't you reconstitute (dont know if thats the right word) the article, so I that have not to write it a secound time? Greetings --Don-kun (talk) 12:31, 30 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I've restored the article. Please add the links to reliable sources right away, so the article doesn't get deleted again. Thanks, NawlinWiki (talk) 14:41, 30 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Animexx requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for web content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. -- Collectonian (talk · contribs) 20:01, 17 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have nominated Animexx, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Animexx. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. -- Collectonian (talk · contribs) 21:02, 17 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you

[edit]

Thank you for the picture, it's very good! :D I was asking Niabot for something that would illustrate the seme/uke section particularly, but this is great for illustrating shonen-ai! Thanks again for letting me know about it.  :) --Malkinann (talk) 23:19, 30 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

re map

[edit]

It shows today's Israeli occupied Golan as not being part of the State of Damascus but Palestine, it also has the Israeli-occupied Golan carved out. --Supreme Deliciousness (talk) 20:34, 30 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The map shows the status of 1922. The Golan territory was part of the British Mandate until 1923. Because of the later changed borders, the later border between Syria and the British Mandate of Palestine is shown as a dashed line. --Don-kun (talk) 20:41, 30 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
No it wasn't, the majority of Golan was always part the the french mandate of Syria. From 1920-1923 Syria was connected to the sea of Galilee, in 1923, a triangle in northwestern Golan was ceded to Syria, while the entire sea of Galilee and lands around it was ceded to Palestine. You can see the boundary changes here: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/2/21/GolanHistoricalBorders.svg . Since the map is now fixed, would you please exchange the old maps with the new one. --Don-kun (talk) 15:36, 4 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
