Greco-Italian War Churchill quote

[edit]

Hi,

As explained on the talkpage for the Greco-Italian War article, I reverted your change to the quote as the utilized source does not support the choice of wording that you changed it to. However, based off what I have seen, your edit does appear to be somewhat accurate. I provided a couple of links on the talkpage with various sources using both versions. If you feel strongly about your change, I would suggest hitting up the talkpage there to establish consensus with the regulars to the article on how to proceed.

New Guinea campaign

[edit]

Please provide a reference to a reliable source which establishes that Filipino forces were involved in the New Guinea Campaign. I'm pretty sure that this isn't the case. Nick-D (talk) 01:04, 25 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

And the Admiralty Islands campaign article. Please stop adding unreferenced claims to all articles. Nick-D (talk) 01:10, 25 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Sources needed for Days of the Year pages

[edit]

You're probably not aware of this change, but Days of the Year pages are no longer exempt from WP:V and direct sources are required for additions. For details see the content guideline, the WikiProject Days of the Year style guide or the edit notice on any DOY page. Please do not add new additions to these pages without direct sources as the burden to provide them is on the editor who adds or restores material to these pages. Thank you. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of conflicts in the Philippines, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page William Draper (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 08:06, 12 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there, I'm HasteurBot. I just wanted to let you know that Draft:Battle of Miudong, a page you created, has not been edited in 5 months. The Articles for Creation space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for articlespace.

If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion. If you would like to attempt to save it, you will need to improve it.

You may request Userfication of the content if it meets requirements.

If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available at WP:REFUND/G13.

Thank you for your attention. HasteurBot (talk) 01:23, 28 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Your draft article, Draft:Battle of Miudong

[edit]

Hello, Doomwings13. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Battle of Miudong".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia! Bkissin (talk) 19:03, 27 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I can see that you are a new editor, but you need to know that Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously. You must not copy and paste text from sources you find on the web into articles as you did in the article Battle of Mayoyao Ridge. The infringing text has been removed because the material you copied is subject to copyright, as is almost everything on the web, and when creating or expanding articles, you should completely rewrite the information from the source using your own words. The source you used was good, so you are now welcome to expand the article in a way that does not infringe copyright. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 15:24, 6 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

On the basis of your recent editing, it appears that you're the latest iteration of the vandal who's been adding total fantasy to Wikipedia's coverage of the military history of the Philippines. Nick-D (talk) 11:05, 9 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
