Iron Man's armor[edit]

Hi. Welcome to Wikipedia, and thanks for working to improve the site with your edit to Iron Man's armor, as we really appreciate your participation. However, the edit had to be reverted, because Wikipedia cannot accept unsourced material or original research. This includes material lacking cited sources, or obtained through personal knowledge or unpublished synthesis of previously published material. Wikipedia requires that the material in its articles be accompanied by reliable, verifiable sources explicitly cited in the text in the form of an inline citation, which you can learn to make here (and which you can see throughout the article). If you have any other questions about editing, or need help regarding the site's policies, just let me know by leaving a message for me in a new section at the bottom of my talk page. Thanks. :-) Nightscream (talk) 00:27, 16 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thanks for pointing out my error regarding the space armor add-on, and for pointing out that Maya Hansen's kidnapping was not the reason he created the black and gold armor (I'm not sure why I wrote that).

However, the material you subsequently added about the Guardians of the Galaxy is not supported by the cited source, and the new closing sentence about the new armor's mission and weapons was not accompanied by a source at all. As I mentioned above, please do not add unsourced material to articles, as doing so is prohibited by the site's Verifiability policy. Please familiarize yourself with those policies linked above.

Also, a minor point, but I don't believe that "arc reactor" and "armor" are employed as proper nouns in the stories. Thanks. Nightscream (talk) 05:28, 21 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Congratulations on your administrator ship. :-)
Regarding arc reactors, my point is that it's not a proper noun, as it is not capitalized elsewhere in that article, nor anywhere in the two feature film articles, except where it begins a sentence or heading.
As for Extremis, I did not restore that information. If you check my last edit, you'll see that I left that out. Thanks again, and Happy Holidays. :-) Nightscream (talk) 22:24, 21 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for July 8[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Tlön, Uqbar, Orbis Tertius, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Michael Walsh. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
