A2 milk requested move

[edit]

Hi there, any reason why you inserted this thread deep within the talk page and not at the bottom per Help:Using talk pages? I suspect the discussion will be missed by editors who may have an opinion to offer. BlackCab (TALK) 13:30, 5 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I came here to say exactly the same thing as BlackCab. -Roxy the dog™ (resonate) 15:15, 5 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
As above, with the addition that if there isn't a particularly good reason, I'm going to boldly remove it to avoid confusion. Stlwart111 23:14, 5 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

My mistake - I meant to add to the bottom. I was perplexed why a science page is referring to a brand so heavily as they are completely different issues. I think this should be discussed. I was also wondering why the founders don't have pages about them, as I think its a very interesting subject. Thoughts?Dreylax01 (talk) 13:10, 23 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The entity we know as "A2 milk" exists only because it is a commercialised product marketed on the basis that it is free of A1 beta-casein proteins. Apart from that product, there is no A2 milk. There was a brief discussion about your proposal here and the consensus was to leave the A2 milk article as is. When you say "they are separate issues", what do you mean? What are the separate issues and how would you propose Wikipedia articles on them? There is nothing preventing articles on the founders of the company: as long as they meet Wikipedia criteria for notability, anyone is free to start writing them. Feel free!
