Jacob

[edit]

You made some edits on the article about Jacob in the Bible, which have since been removed. Something about Esau and Jacob doing battle against the Italians. I tried to do some research about this and couldn't find any reference to what you were talking about. Could you explain it? Foolish Citizen (talk) 16:15, 17 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Old Bible

[edit]

Hello Druid Fiesta,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Old Bible for deletion, because it's a redirect that seems implausible or is an unlikely search term.

If you don't want Old Bible to be deleted, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, introducing hoaxes, such as Automatic for the People (event), is considered to be vandalism and is prohibited. If you are interested in how accurate Wikipedia is, a more constructive test method would be to try to find inaccurate statements that are already in Wikipedia—and then to correct them if possible. If you would like to make test edits, please use the sandbox. Under section G3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, the page has been nominated for deletion. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits to White people, it appears that you have added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. Thank you. Cordless Larry (talk) 20:34, 31 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

This description of my additions to the article are inaccurate. The edits need to be judged by their actual worth, as determined by their content, as can only be determined by reading the added passages, not by whether they appear on the surface to have an Oxford-approved source. -Druid Fiesta (talk) 20:36, 31 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Please see Wikipedia:Verifiability, which is a core Wikipedia policy. Nothing to do with Oxford. Cordless Larry (talk) 20:39, 31 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

It has to do with the idea that the material at worst is to be removed to the talk page and then the elements are to be discussed, and then when state editors working for monarchists are forced to discuss each and every point rather than continue to pink the planet with pap, and then sources for each point can be added. -Druid Fiesta (talk) 20:41, 31 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Interracial marriage, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Cordless Larry (talk) 20:53, 31 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did at White people, you may be blocked from editing. Cordless Larry (talk) 20:54, 31 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
