Welcome![edit]

Hello, Drxgonzales, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I notice that one of the first articles you edited appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.

To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or any other editor to proofread it. See our help page on userspace drafts for more details. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.

One firm rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)

Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{help me}} before the question. Again, welcome! January 2012[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, please do not add promotional material to articles or other Wikipedia pages. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. 76.248.147.199 (talk) 23:10, 9 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not write an article about yourself. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was my page deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss it with the deleting administrator. Thank you. 76.248.147.199 (talk) 23:10, 9 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding unsourced information about yourself to a Wikipedia article. It appears to be self-promotional, and does not establish your notability. 76.248.147.199 (talk) 03:27, 10 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

File source problem with File:Ancestral House Collage x6.JPG[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Ancestral House Collage x6.JPG. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page.

If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please refer to the image use policy to learn what images you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. Please also check any other files you have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. .... I am a relatively new contributor to Wikepedia and do not understand many of your language, terminologies & rules. I deeply apologize if I fall short of your standard. Please advice on how can I retain this file in Wikepedia and avoid deletion. Otherwise, please transfer it to Wikemedia Commons as previously suggested. Thanks. Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on TIPAN USA, ANGKAN NG MGA VENERACION requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Help Request[edit]

I want to add a picture of the Gonzales Violago Veneracion Century Old House at the Image Gallery of San Ildefonso, Bulacan but I can't figure it out how. This is the one and only century old house in San Ildefonso and is very historical. Please help. Drxgonzales (talk) 07:03, 23 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. I moved this down here into a new section for readability. To add an article, first you need to upload it to Wikimedia Commons, at commons.wikimedia.org. Then when you edit the "Image Gallery" section of the San Ildefonso article, just all it to the list in the same format as the others, but using the filename you used at Commons. Hope this helps, if not feel free to ping {{helpme}} again. Reventtalk 10:18, 23 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I want to change my user name Drxgonzales. How do I do that. Thanks.Drxgonzales (talk) 13:45, 27 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

You'll need to file a request at Changing username. Just follow the instructions at that link. Yunshui  14:17, 27 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I want to put a word or phrase in an article in such a way that when you click on it you are directed to the web page of that. How do you do that? Thanks. Drxgonzales (talk) 15:31, 29 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

See Help:Link. In short, links to other Wikipedia articles are created by double square brackets, like this: [[target]], which gives target. If you want the displayed text to differ from the target article's title, you can use a "piped" link: [[Target|target article]], which is displayed as target article. Note that the first letter of a link is not case sensitive; target and Target both point to the "Target" article. Huon (talk) 16:55, 29 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
