Hi. I'm afraid I've reverted your changes to GIMP, mainly because you were preceded by a spammer and I wanted to go back to the last version before the spam. However, I really don't see the value of the things you added: stable versions pretty much never get anything except bug fixes and new translations. All the new stuff goes into the unstable versions -- which will next start with 2.7.1 in a week or so. If you wanted to track developments with those, that would be cool, but it might take some work.
