Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment, or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. GA-RT-22 (talk) 20:30, 18 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for creating the article! He had an interesting career and I am sure there is more about him in archives but I thought there was enough to get it through. I was able to find, rather quickly actually, that he had recorded the "Opry Theme", the first time the Grand Ole Opry had allowed their theme to be recorded. The prose does need to be brushed up as it is not written in an encyclopedic tone but something maybe you can work on along with other editors. If you are interest in writing similar articles, I suggest getting a subscription to newspapers.com through The Wikipedia Library. S0091 (talk) 21:52, 26 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
