Njgio[edit]

He has been vandalizing on WWE/TNA Roster pages, can you put a stop to this?

Kelly Kelly[edit]

no that is her real ring name

the reason y is b/c people are asking her personal stuff about her name so they had to puy Kelly Kelly and it's not mistyped. User:JustMaria

Roster Help[edit]

Shouldn't the preformers ont the WWE Roster/PPV's have nicknames as the TNA preformers on there roster/PPV's? BionicWilliam 05:57, 24 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

WrestleMania X8[edit]

Could you please help summarize this [1]? I keep telling him it's full of grammar errors, weasel words, and peacock terms, yet he still keeps adding it. If you could help me summarize the match to be consistent with other matches in the article I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.--3bulletproof16 21:40, 26 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

TheTruth2 has been reported. If you would like to leave a comment concerning the situation please do so here. I find it strange that when he is referred to Wikipedia:WikiProject Professional wrestling show formatting or any other guideline for that matter, he claims that he has already read them and that his edits "still follows the guidelines". Signed up just 3 days ago... Yep TJ Spyke and I are dealing with a troll here.--3bulletproof16 22:02, 26 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Roster Alpha[edit]

Multiple anon's have reorganized all the main brand names by there first names . reverting it back to correct it would be a big mistake so I suggest we, (you, me & Just Maria). Go through to do it by section. BionicWilliam 05:39, 29 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

New ring name[edit]

Sounds a bit peculiar, but okay. --- Lid 01:23, 4 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Jamie Noble[edit]

Oh. Well shouldn't he be listed as James Gibson, then? Tim Long 21:36, 7 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

AS[edit]

Not sure why an anon is insisting on adding Wrong Planet to the external links on Asperger syndrome, when it's already listed under See also, but all the editors might have to decide how to best handle this. I've long thought a new, and more comprehensive, template might solve a lot of the issues. Sandy 22:07, 9 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Big Guido[edit]

He should at least be left as part of FBI, or taken off the "current members" section on the FBI page. Tim Long 20:33, 15 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Before I go...[edit]

Before I get my userpage and everything deleted, I wanted to say sorry for fighting with you before about the WWE roster. I was a jerk.. — Moe Epsilon 03:42 August 22 '06

OVW/DSW Roster[edit]

Can you sort out which wrestlers are and are not under a WWE Developmental Contracts and remove them from the WWE Rostr Page? We are claiming some people work for WWE when they don't. I would Do it but I don't see OVW to know. From The Holy Trinity of Sports Entertainment

Sorry. Didn't see that that had been changed. I should check the pages I create more often. From The Holy Trinity of Sports Entertainment

Personal attacks[edit]

May i ask who i personally attacked?

Im sorry, but telling you to grow a spine is not a personal attack, it is useful advice.

you have a very thin interpratation of it then, because that is no personal attack. You may wanna read this. Personal attacks do not include civil language used to describe an editor's actions, and when made without involving their personal character, should not be construed as personal attacks. I in no way involved your personal character.

Attacking your personal character is attacking who u are. Had i said "you are an ugly fag with no life", then that would be an attack on your character.

K, i am done talking to you because I am tired and have no time for people who have very thin interpretations of issues.

Back on July 4 you stated you'd e-mailed Samoa Joe to find out his reponse to his real name (Nuufolau Joel Seanoa) as per the US patent of his name filed by himself. Did you ever receive a response? --- Lid 00:10, 23 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I added the information before you responded but removed it for now until we can figure out how to deal with this. Should we take it to the WikiProject? --- Lid 00:20, 23 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Beth Phoenix[edit]

They eventually will say that, I mean come on what are they going to do with Beth Phoenix now that Trish Stratus is retiring and Mickie James is seeking for her title back, nothing they just send her back to OVW because there is nothing left for her, and she wasn't out of shape. JustMaria 23:18, 3 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I just can't get through to user JB196. He continues to revert the article, reducing its quality claiming that he is not credited as "The Author" in the article itself. The issue is being brought up here [2] help would be greatly appreciated. -- bulletproof 3:16 03:10, 5 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

SandyGeorgia[edit]

May I point out to you the obvious...I did NOT initiate that discussion. However, as I result of it I discovered the identity (and agenda - not that that need concern you) of User:SandyGeorgia, somebody else did, and it remains unresolved, therefore, even by the rules of User:SandyGeorgia it must remain until it is resolved to the satisfaction of those who initiated it and all participants. --Zeraeph 22:10, 5 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Just wanted to say thanks for trying to do something to stop the abuse, but I'm afraid that nothing will stop that which is firmly entrenched in someone's imagination. The talk page section where she attacked me didn't actually bother me at all, as it showed quite adequately that there was no evidence to back her claims. I have decided it is best ignored, but I do appreciate that you tried to help. Regards, Sandy 17:29, 6 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

WWE roster and TNA roster page should be locked[edit]

I think they should be, today is a good example of why. Anons constantly revert it with nonsense or move wrestlers around when it's not needed. RobJ1981 22:37, 7 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Pro wrestling article assessing now in place[edit]

In case you didn't know: Category:Unassessed Professional wrestling articles. Everyone needs to help out and assess, the idea was a good one... but I hope it doesn't end up like other projects: many pages of unassessed articles due to people not wanting to assess articles. I've started assessing, but there is much work to be done. RobJ1981 01:02, 16 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Rob Conway "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan - also has a Legends contract
Edge (Adam Copeland) Eugene (Nick Dinsmore)
Ric Flair (Richard Fliehr) Charlie Haas
Jeff Hardy Johnny (Johnny Jeter)
JTG (Jayson Paul) Kenny (Ken Doane)
Chris Masters (Chris Mordetsky) Robbie McAllister (Derek Graham-Couch)
Rory McAllister (Russell Murray) Shawn Michaels (Michael Hickenbottom)
Mikey (Michael Brendli) Mitch (Nick Mitchell)
Trevor Murdoch (Trevor Rhodes) Nicky (Nick Nemeth)
Johnny Nitro (John Hennigan) Randy Orton
"Rowdy" Roddy Piper (Roderick Toombs) - also has a Legends contract Shad (Shad Gaspard)
(Gene) Snitsky (Eugene Snisky) Super Crazy (Francisco Pantoja Islas)
Triple H (Paul Levesque) Umaga (Eddie Fatu)
Val Venis (Sean Morley) Viscera (Nelson Frazier, Jr.)

Tell me how you feel.. semper fiMoe 18:54, 6 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, I cross posted this at WP:PW's talk page :) semper fiMoe 20:03, 6 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Why exactly did you alphabetize the tag teams/stables in that wrong way? If you look at other parts of the roster (and the WWE roster page's section of teams+stables): it's by last name, not by first. As you had it, it was a little bit of both. RobJ1981 21:42, 19 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Health Wiki Research[edit]

A colleague and I are conducting a study on health wikis. We are looking at how wikis co-construct health information and create communities. We noticed that you are a frequent contributor to Wikipedia on health topics.

Please consider taking our survey here.

This research will help wikipedia and other wikis understand how health information is co-created and used.

We are from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia. The project was approved by our university research committee and members of the Wikipedia Foundation.

Image copyright problem with Image:Camjackson.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Camjackson.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Image:Camjackson.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Camjackson.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the image description page and edit it to add {{Replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or a similar) image under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that any fair use images which are replaceable by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Abu Badali 15:57, 19 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:WallaceMike CPC.jpg[edit]

Warning sign This file may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:WallaceMike CPC.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. When you use a generic fair use tag such as {{fair use}} or {{fair use in|article name}}, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. MECUtalk 23:51, 19 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You're right, there isn't a difference and I have tagged the other image as fair use replaceable, which should also apply to your image, and would probably have been a better choice to tag your image. Providing a fair use rationale for each instance an image is used under fair use is part of the fair use policy. Take a look at some of the featured articles and their fair use images. They all include a rationale. However, since these are of living people, they should be quite replaceable. It may not be easy, but it certainly is. Thank you for being polite and civil regarding this matter. --MECUtalk 13:34, 20 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You need to add fair use rationales[edit]

See Image:WW2 Iwo Jima flag raising.jpg for some examples of fair use rationales. Megapixie 06:43, 20 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The rules have changed a little since then - however the enforcement of the rules has been tightened considerably and there are now bots watching new image uploads. Feel free to add a rationale for the other image (it will get tagged for not having one sooner or later). Fair use images in general are a bit of a hot topic of late, see Wikipedia talk:Fair use if you want to sample the debate. Good luck. Megapixie 08:26, 20 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Could you comment about this?[edit]

Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Professional wrestling#Royal Rumble debuts. It's concerning if debuts should be in or not for Royal Rumble (concerning Rumble match debuts: not WWF/E debuts in any way at all). RobJ1981 00:17, 3 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

OVW roster and DSW roster[edit]

Just letting you know a couple of days ago the OVW roster was deleted along with the information of the OVW non-contracted roster. I have gotten the information back and merged it back into the article. Also, I have went ahead and done the same to the DSW roster just in case it was going to be deleted. I have commented on the WWE roster talk page. Cheers! semper fiMoe 06:43, 3 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Bad Bill Tucker pointed you out to me. There is a huge hole in Wikipedia articles related to Mental Health, but not necessarily psychology. These are from more of a peer perspective. Recent WWE releases[edit]

I was thinking, because of the mass amount of WWE releases, maybe on the WWE roster talkpage, we could list everyone who was recently released so editors could remove names that may get readded. Do you have a list of people released? semper fiMoe 18:37, 28 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Do you think we would should transclude the names onto the WWE roster talk page so people don't readd them? semper fiMoe 20:30, 28 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Looking at the WWE roster article, I forgot it was semi-protected for a minute. Maybe we don't since it's protected.. Thanks for a link to the article though. It wasn't linked to the main WWE page and I couldn't access it on my usual pro wrestling new sites because of my Internet pop-up blockers :( semper fiMoe 21:09, 28 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Dubhagan,

Your removal of the Asperger photo in the Autism article may prove the right move but until we discuss it, would you be so kind as to put it back. The photo of Kanner is, in my opinion, thoroughly appropriate of course so leave it in.

Apology[edit]

Hey dude, I know it's kinda late now, but I wanna apologize for the spinless comment i made before. I realize that I was wrong, and feel bad about it. If you accept, please let me know on my talk page.Killswitch Engage 19:10, 6 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

An editor has added a "{{prod}}" template to the article Johnny Graham, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but it is not believed it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has been explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Request for participation in Asperger FARC :[edit]

As a member of Wiki Aspergians, I hope you'll comment on the Asperger's FARC. I am voting to de-list, as I believe the article has taken a drastic POV shift toward pure pathology and away from the dual nature - talent+disability - articulated by the leading RS's of the field. I hope you'll vote whether you agree or not with my assessment :
