Self-published sources

[edit]

On a planet of over seven billion people, self-published books and YouTube videos don't constitute substantial information. If there are no notable persons or reliable sources using this argument, and it is not discussed in the literature on the subject, then I would say that constitutes trivial mentions and undue emphasis. --Orange Mike | Talk 18:26, 7 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks

[edit]

I think Wikipedia gives undue recognition to establishment publishers and the like with this policy, but I see your point and thank you for your answer. Dude6935 (talk) 18:31, 7 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Evictionism, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Libertarian (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

You have been active at the article or talk page, so here's a note about Anarcho-capitalism

[edit]

I have nominated Anarcho-capitalism for a featured article review here. Please join the discussion on whether this article meets featured article criteria. Articles are typically reviewed for two weeks. If substantial concerns are not addressed during the review period, the article will be moved to the Featured Article Removal Candidates list for a further period, where editors may declare "Keep" or "Delist" the article's featured status. The instructions for the review process are here. Binksternet (talk) 18:14, 29 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The file File:Obama Presidential Approval Rating 3.4.10.JPG has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Uploaded in JPG format, and superseded by File:Gallup Poll-Approval Rating-Barack Obama.svg

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. ♠PMC(talk) 04:06, 17 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
