Entropy (information theory)[edit]

I noticed you added a comment at Talk:Entropy (information theory). I have refactored (altered) your comment so it is more easily read. You might like to edit it and add a couple more math tags, but that is probably not important. I don't have time to think about the point you raise (and it's a long time since I have done much with this topic), so I will leave it for others to comment on the issue. However I can tell you that the proper way to add a comment about a new topic on a talk page is to click "new section" at the top; enter a brief subject/headline; enter the comment; add a signature. For the signature, add a space then four tildes to the end of the last line of your comment. Press "Show preview" to see how it appears before "Save". The tildes are replaced by your signature in the preview. Once a section has been added, you can add an additional comment by clicking "edit" in the right margin, on the same horizontal line as the section heading. A reply is indented by starting the comment with a colon; add a signature to the end of the last line. Some info is at WP:TP. Johnuniq (talk) 04:04, 2 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
