Thanks for your review! Well, It's what the mainstream media says, it seems to work differently from the common maglev because instead of using the electromagnetism, it freezes the material on the floor to turn it superconductive thus making it levitate, and that means it has to be fueled with liquid nitrogen everyday. If the main brazilian media isn't a reliable source, it can be deleted. Duke of Wikipädia (talk) 19:04, 24 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Gusfriend Translation of the sources next to the sentence:
"A superconducting magnetic levitation train, tested in Rio a year and seven months ago, is awaiting the result of an international certification request, which could pave the way for its industrial production and commercialization. The vehicle, created by Coppe/UFRJ and in operation at Cidade Universitária, on Ilha do Fundão, is the first in the world to transport passengers with this technology. The composition, which runs on magnetized rails, with low energy consumption and no emission of pollutants, has already aroused the interest of China, which is discussing a cooperation agreement with the university."
"According to Stephan, the Maglev-Cobra is the first vehicle in the world to carry passengers, on a full scale, using magnetic levitation by superconductivity and magnets. The same technology is also being tested in China and Germany. Three other vehicles developed in Japan, China and South Korea use another form of levitation: the electromagnetic principle, which requires control loops for stabilization." In which case the I suggest that the additional context that you provided should be in the article or the article should have a link to a separate page which provides information about the different approach. I would also expect that there are probably some academic papers referring to their work that would make a good addition to the page. Gusfriend (talk) 01:13, 25 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
