Block appeal...
[edit]Dvorhagen (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
I'm a computational biophysics PhD. Unless someone has a serious problem with how I characterized the free energy profile of human PKR activation, I can't imagine what I could've done to get banned. Someone must have hacked me - we have terrible wifi where I live, and so must use extra routers and extenders. Dvorhagen (talk) 04:37, 30 September 2024 (UTC)
Decline reason:
I don't think that your account was "hacked" as you seem to be the only operator. In order to look into this, we need to know your IP address. If you do not want to post it publicly, you may use WP:UTRS to provide it privately. Make sure any VPNs or proxies are off and your browser cache cleared. 331dot (talk) 06:40, 30 September 2024 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:
(this is my second appeal) I seriously only ever edited a couple biochemistry entries, and maybe a couple other things so minor I don't even remember what they are. It says I was blocked for 'disruptive' posts, but that's absurd. It's especially hard for me to make an argument here, because I can find no indication of what I'm supposed to have done... I haven't gotten into an edit war with anyone, I haven't edited any controversial topics, I've only edited maybe three articles in the many years I've been using Wikipedia and then not made many changes, I've sourced everything I've added, and, incidentally, I've given Wikipedia money during your funding drive every year since I can remember, even when I was a filthy penniless student. I'm not sure which device I used to make edits, as I am not even sure what the edits at issue are, but my current IP is 192.168.7.95 Dvorhagen (talk) 13:17, 2 October 2024 (UTC)
Decline reason:
This account is not blocked; nor are any of the IPs you've used. What message are you getting? --jpgordon𝄢𝄆𝄐𝄇 23:18, 2 October 2024 (UTC)
