Les Coulisses de l'exploit moved to draftspace
An article you recently created, Les Coulisses de l'exploit, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Hello, I'm PamD. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Pat Davies (footballer), but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Do not add unsourced birth date information for anyone, but especially not for a living person. Thanks. PamD 09:33, 11 September 2022 (UTC)
- You added a birth date with no source, and which is contradicted in one of the existing sources. Please take more care to add references for everything you add to the encyclopedia. Thanks. PamD 09:35, 11 September 2022 (UTC)

Finnish women footballers
Thanks, Dwanyewest, for writing short bios of women footballers from Finland and covering some of the past Euros. Now that we have lost Lugnuts, we need all the support we can get for women in sports.--Ipigott (talk) 11:11, 6 August 2022 (UTC) =
Please take more care
Hallo, I noticed Sarah Reed (footballer) which you created - I think it was on my watchlist after I had created it as a red link some years back. You left it in this state. Please take more care to make sure that your edits are accurate. You said "Reed greatest achievement was scoring the winning the 1998 FA Women's Cup Final and 1999 FA Women's Cup Final with Arsenal": it doesn't make sense, but it seems to be trying to say that she scored the winning goals, which isn't supported by either of the sources: she was the goalkeeper. Please try to be accurate.
Please also remember to make the first mention of the subject in the lead bold, and also remember to make sure that if you create an article with a disambiguated title it can be found from the basic title: in this case it needed to be added to the disambiguation page at Sarah Reed (I've done so). Without that, the reader is unlikely to find the article, and a future careless editor might create a duplicate article. Thanks. PamD 20:05, 19 September 2022 (UTC)

Seany91 (talk) 02:12, 7 June 2023 (UTC)Anna Margraf
Hi, may I just ask, the version of Anna Margraf you just created seems completely acceptable to me. As far as I remember, I saw the same version (wame sources) a few weeks ago in NPP as well, but I see now that it was G4 deleted by User:Joe Roe, who then gave you, er, no useful explanation at all when you challenged the deletion. If this is indeed basically the same article as the one that was deleted, then that was a completely incorrect G4 deletion by Joe Roe. Next time something like this happens, after you have contacted the deleting admin, it would be best if you brought it to WP:DRV for a discussion, as some admins don't take it lightly when a speedy deletion is basically ignored by recreating the page. Having such DRV discussions also helps in establishing whether an admin has simply made a mistake, or if they are part of a pattern of problematic deletions. Fram (talk) 09:24, 29 June 2023 (UTC)

Just a reminder...
Every time you create an article, please remember to bold the subject in the lede like this: Football Player → '''Football Player''' (three apostrophes on each side) → Football Player. That way, it'll save you and other editors/patrollers a lot of time and effort. --Slgrandson (How's my egg-throwing coleslaw?) 23:54, 24 July 2023 (UTC)

Thank you for creating biographies of women athletes!
Hello, Dwanyewest -- Thank you for creating so many biographies for women athletes! As you move continue creating biographies, could you do the following tasks:
- 1) Bold the article subject as Slgrandson noted previously, e.g., Dwanyewest is a Wikipedian.
- 2) Add {{Authority control}} beneath the references.
- 3) Add {{DEFAULSORT:Lastname, Firstname}} beneath authority control, e.g., {{DEFAULTSORT:West, Dwanye}}.
- 4) Add a short description that provides a super brief description, often from the first sentence, e.g., {{short description|Retired American soccer player}}.
Further, if you could create articles beyond stubs, that would be great, too. However, I think even stubs are valuable! Thanks again for all your work! Significa liberdade (talk) 19:04, 6 August 2023 (UTC)
- I would like to second that motion. Please, if you could create something more meaningful than one-sentence stubs, we could have such a cool encyclopedia. Also, Wikipedia is not just a collection of information, so be careful about which articles you create. Paul Vaurie (talk) 01:51, 10 August 2023 (UTC)

Please stop
Hello Dwanyewest. I understand you're trying to do the right thing and improve Wikipedia, but making one-sentence, barely notable stubs without writing any meaningful content is not a constructive improvement to Wikipedia. These articles you just created: Jennifer Soileau, Erin Regan, Beth Zotter, Erica Iverson, Emmy Barr; they're all the same. "So and so is a retired American soccer player in the WUSA. WP:REFBOMB."
None of the articles you're making comply with the guidelines for player articles outlined at WP:WPF. Most of the articles you are making have little information, and most fail WP:GNG according to my interpretation.
I would appreciate if you actually put some time and effort into your article creation, because writing one single sentence and then adding just a REFBOMB is not helpful. It just creates more work for other people to clean up. Please remember quality over quantity. Happy editing. Paul Vaurie (talk) 17:17, 14 August 2023 (UTC)
- I would have to agree, the mass-creation of stubs is not of much use to this site when there is no prose indicating the subjects' notability. One-sentence articles with no biographical details is also not useful for readers. I've created such articles before as well, but have come to realize that spending time to create quality articles is of far greater benefit to Wikipedia. Cheers, S.A. Better articles
Hello Dwanyewest. As I have stated before, could you please make better articles than this? One-sentence stubs with barely any context just make more work for other editors. It is not a contest to make the most articles. Wikipedia is not a competition. Thank you. Paul Vaurie (talk) 23:54, 28 August 2023 (UTC)
- Also, could you please develop the infobox of player articles you make? See examples of infoboxes at Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo, for example. They display the clubs that a particular player has played for. You don't do that, and that just creates more work for other editors. Please complete the infobox. Hello, Dwanyewest. Thank you for your work on Tracey Milburn. User:Oaktree b, while examining this page as a part of our page curation process, had the following comments:
Would likely be notable, but we need much more than what's given in the article now. Appears to have played in LA with some sources from the 1990's found. I'd add those to the article, which would likely help. PM if you need help locating them!
