The article Solar power in Business has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Article & refs are all formatted entirely incorrectly. Article reads as a personal essay or opinion/promotional piece. This needs a complete re-write to fit Wikipedia. Otherwise a move to draft space for re-working.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. - I moved the article to a sandbox, User:Dylankapadia98/Solar, so that you can work on polishing your draft. As it stands, it isn't there yet. I had added a link to the Editing Wikipedia brochure - please review it carefully, especially pages 7-9.
- A few things moving forward
- Wikipedia articles are supposed to begin with a succinct statement of the topic of the article. The first sentence should provide the reader with a sense of what the topic is about. The remainder of the lead section should summarize the major points of the article, and should not include information that isn't already present in the body of the article.
- You need properly-formatted sections. Your section headers should follow sentence capitalization - only the first word and any proper nouns should be capitalized.
- You need to use properly-formatted inline references. See this training slide for a reminder of how to do this.
- You need to make sure that the content you're adding isn't already covered in existing articles. Ian (Wiki Ed) (talk) 15:56, 16 December 2019 (UTC)
- One more thing - try to rely on better sources. Your goal should be to use scholarly sources wherever possible. You have access to one of the top academic libraries in the world - you should make use of it. Ian (Wiki Ed) (talk) 15:59, 16 December 2019 (UTC)
