A note to all (concerning rephrasing edits)[edit]

Don't take it personally when I rephrase something you think is gold. Typically, I only edit things when I think an article (or part of one) is too sloppily put together.

Any rephrasings aren't done in spite or anything. They are done because I think that they look better than they did.

Trust me. I'm a college journalism student.

re: Bone (comics)[edit]

If you think my wording was ambiguous (implying that Fone Bone physically resembles Bilbo, for example), okay, but I think it's inaccurate to say that the Bone cousins resemble Walt Kelly's characters "in appearance only." Jeff Smith picked up more than just his visuals from Kelly; he's mentioned in interviews his admiration for Kelly's ability to have each character speak with a different voice, and his witty dialogue and characterization reflects some of Kelly's.
