Categories[edit]

Your enthusiasm is appreciated, but please stop creating categories until you become much more familiar with Wikipedia's way of doing things. You're creating categories that are redundant to other categories, have previously been deleted for various reasons, and/or do not follow Wikipedia style guidelines regarding title formats. Please slow down, make minor edits, and enjoy yourself contributing your knowledge while learning the Wikipedia way. Doczilla 23:57, 28 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Your box creation confirms that you're more familiar with Wikipedia than the recency of your account creation would indicate. If you are using a new name because of problems you encountered under previous aliases, please look through the objections people made to all of your edits and learn from them. Your edits to superhero and Days of our Lives articles have been getting deleted and reverted left and right because you're not following Wikipedia consensus. Your energy and conscientious efforts really could make some lasting contributions if you'll make smaller changes and learn from past mistakes. Wryspy 08:15, 29 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Every single category you've created is up for deletion and the votes make it clear that all are likely to be gone. You're putting a lot of time and effort into work that will go right away. Other people can just use bots to easily undo what you've edited. Please take your time and learn how things work at Wikipedia. For instance, you should stop capitalizing so many words in the titles. Doczilla 10:19, 31 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It's obvious you've heard this before, but to reiterate: STOP CREATING CATEGORIES!! Every single one you have created is redundant; they will be deleted and you're just wasting time and annoying a lot of people. CovenantD 04:52, 1 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. I wanted to let you know that all of the categories that you have created, including the two that you created yesterday, Category:October Birthdays and Category:Reality Television Editions, are currently being discussed at Wikipedia:Categories for discussion. If you would like the help decide what happens to them, please join the conversations on that page. Please also consider Doczilla's advice and hold-off on creating more categories until you have more a little experience with the project. ×Meegs 05:52, 2 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Removal of my suggestion[edit]

I would like your opinion about the notion that I was "spamming" you by leaving you a message on your Talk page (which was, in turn, deleted by another user who determined it to be spam). Please comment, if you'd like, under my question for the folks at WikiProject Spam. Seems to me that they're going a bit too far censoring Wikipedia users from even TALKING to each other on a Talk page, if there's an external link involved. Was I helpful to you at all, or nothing but an annoyance? --JossBuckle Swami 17:40, 31 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

SM3[edit]

This is the only warning you will receive.
Your recent vandalism to Spider-Man 3 will not be tolerated. The next time you vandalize a page, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Ace Class Shadow; My talk. 02:40, 2 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have suggested that this article be deleted. It doesn't seem to contain any information that is already in the two Spider Man articles Spider-Man (film) and Spider-Man 2. Thanks, Gwernol 02:47, 2 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Stop creating categories[edit]

Please consider this your final warning. You must stop creating new categories such as Category:October Events and Category:October Deaths. These are not appropriate categories. Just as you category Category:October Birthdays is being considered for deletion I will add these two as well. You have been politely asked several times to stop doing this as it is disruptive. Now I am telling you, if you continue to dsirupt Wikipedia by creating clearly inappropriate categories I will block you from editing to prevent further damage to the project. Gwernol 16:54, 2 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have proposed that the article Spider-Man (1986 film) be deleted as it appears this is a hoax. There is no evidence that this film ever existed,. Bob Hoskins has never appeared in any film called Spider-Man nor has the supposed director ever made a version of Spider Man. Unless you can cite several reliable sources for this film's existence the article will be deleted. Wikipedia is a serious project. You are very close to exhausting my patience by continually creating inappropriate and apparently false categories and articles. Please stop this behaviuor now or there is a very good chance you will be blocked from editing here. Gwernol 17:07, 2 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please see Wikipedia:Vandalism, an important Wikipedia policy. Unless you can provide sources that at least show why you think a 1986 Spider-Man film ever existed, then you would appear to have engaged in silly vandalism (see policy for description). This can make it harder for anyone to assume good faith about anything else you edit. Doczilla 08:50, 3 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked for disruption[edit]

You have been blocked from editing for continued disruption of Wikipedia. Gwernol 14:57, 3 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Confirmed sockpuppets[edit]

Summarized actions of EJBanks and his/her confirmed sockpuppets, and their collective puppetmaster:

Puppetmaster: User:Creepy Crawler who was blocked indefinitely[1], believed to have later been User:Batman Fan, also blocked indefinitely.[2]

User:EJBanks - created categories and articles (more categories than articles) related to comic books and soap operas, especially the soap Days of our Lives. Categories were defined poorly or not at all, ambiguously titled, redundant to other categories, trivial, and/or inappropriately capitalized. User would go through quickly populated each category. Every article and category got nominated for deletion. EJBanks also created the above-noted hoax article about a nonexistent Spider-Man film. Experienced a ban. Confirmed sockpuppet of Creepy Crawler. Blocked indefinitely.

User:Poker Master - vandalized articles by adding obviously bogus categories -- e.g. classifying Al Gore among people from the East. Blocked indefinitely.

User:Fatone411 - created soap opera categories, especially related to Days of our Lives, but had not gotten around to creating comic book categories as well. See [[3]] for information. Blocked indefinitely.

User:BarackObamaFan. The same interests in superheroes especially Spider-Man (particularly in film or video games), Days of our Lives, various celebrities, and Democrats. Confirmed sockpuppet of EJBanks. Blocked indefinitely.

User:LedgerJoker. Confirmed sockpuppet of EJ Banks. Blocked indefinitely.

User:TheJediCouncil has made all of EJ's mistakes, with interest in the same topics (lists, categories, Days of our Lives, Star Wars, reality TV, Democrats, and superheroes, particularly Spider-Man and more particularly his movies and video games).[4] Deemed obvious sockpuppet of EJBanks. Result: Banned indefinitely. Again.

[5]

User:Stakelover: Editing Days of our Lives, Spider-Man movie, super-hero actor categories, birth years. Creates and quickly populates categories. Incorrectly capitalizes some titles in created categories/articles. Indefinitely blocked for repeated vandalism.[6].

User:BernardTheButler was briefly his too, according to checkuser of 4 July 2007: Wikipedia:Requests_for_checkuser#EJBanks.

Maybe it seems like I notice this guy too much. It's just that I keep seeing him time and time again inserting nonsense categories into a huge number of the comics articles or create articles and categories that just keep popping up in CfD, and he wears me out when my main activities here are editing comics articles and contributin to CfD discussions. He frustrates another member of my household who's interested in comics and Days, so I can't help but find out about that too. Doczilla 21:35, 4 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

See User_talk:Creepy_Crawler#Copy_of_previous_evidence_for_the_history.
User:EndlessDesign: Vandal.[7] Identified as CreepyCrawler sock.
User:RealityTelevisionFan: Confirmed and blocked. [8]

Notice

The article List of Days of Our Lives characters has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unsourced. No notability. Fancruft.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

This bot DID NOT nominate any of your contributions for deletion; please refer to the history of each individual page for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 09:00, 2 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
