A little help

User:Beast from da East is trying to help out certain articles, but is ultimately failing. In some of his edits, he is switching infobox NFL retired to NFL active. Which is good, But the way he's doing it is wrong. He's erasing the Achievements list and also removing teams that a player was practice squad/ inactive for, which is bad. There are alot of edits, and i'm trying to sort through them and fix what he did wrong, but i might need some help. RF23 (talk) 03:09, 7 February 2010 (UTC)

update: okay, seems i've overstated it a bit. I only noticed problems on 2 articles, and have fixed them. Feel free to look through his contributions anyways and see if i missed anything. RF23 (talk) 03:15, 7 February 2010 (UTC)
Alright, thanks for the notification. Could you alert Beast about what he did wrong so it doesn't happen again? Thanks and I'll look at his contributions. Eagles 24/7 (C) 03:22, 7 February 2010 (UTC)

I bet you're a Colts fan

Just kidding. Sorry about that business on the Saints page, I let my emotions get the best of me. I've got family in New Orleans, so this is pretty big for me. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.128.105.37 (talk) 03:22, 8 February 2010 (UTC)

It's alright, man. I'd be excited too if my hometown team (Eagles) won. It's just that this isn't really the place to show your enthusiasm. Congrats on the win, by the way. Eagles 24/7 (C) 03:24, 8 February 2010 (UTC)

Thanks

I was debating how to handle this one. Now I don't have to worry about it. Thanks :) Tiderolls 00:55, 9 February 2010 (UTC)

Article creation help

I was surprised to find Frank Ganz didn't have a wikipedia article (nor does his son, Frank Ganz, Jr. ) Ganz sr was a coach for a long time (even head coach of the Chiefs for a while) and Ganz Jr has been a special teams coach for ages. I was wondering if you can help me find some sources to start up the articles for those individuals. RF23 (talk) 03:34, 12 February 2010 (UTC)

That's because you spelled his name wrong (see Frank Gansz) =) Eagles 24/7 (C) 03:37, 12 February 2010 (UTC)

The Kingdom Keepers

No worries, it's all good. I've actually been discussing those edits with Bellagio2, and I think we're seeing eye-to-eye on them. Just need some reliable source info, and they'd be good to go. --McDoobAU93 (talk) 04:36, 12 February 2010 (UTC)

Actually, I was just checking out that conversation and went to see your contributions when I accidentally hit the rollback button. I'm trying to work that out. Eagles 24/7 (C) 04:41, 12 February 2010 (UTC)

Thanks ...

... for moving the stray comment from my User page to my Talk page. — Malik Shabazz Talk/Stalk 22:21, 12 February 2010 (UTC)

No problem. Eagles 24/7 (C) 22:22, 12 February 2010 (UTC)

Thanks, not trying to step on any toes. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Sleeptilnoon4 (talkcontribs) 23:44, 12 February 2010 (UTC)

Edit Summaries

This wasn't helpful, odds are the IP went with the media reports and given the fact it was rumoured before the release happened/didn't happen the IP probably thought it was from before. Just a simple undo with media reports were wrong or something like that wouldn't have been more suitable IMO.--Giants27(Contribs|WP:CFL) 23:55, 12 February 2010 (UTC)

Alright, I'll try that. It's bound to happen ten more times today, anyway. Eagles 24/7 (C) 23:57, 12 February 2010 (UTC)

Thank you...

...for removing the warning given to me by that IP. :) It seems they weren't happy that I reverted their edit to Titin, which I believed to be a long list of nonsense characters (as stated in the tag). - JuneGloom07 Talk? 19:10, 13 February 2010 (UTC)

Surprisingly, that is actually the name for Titin. But anyone who accesses that page would have their computers freeze up. Eagles 24/7 (C) 19:13, 13 February 2010 (UTC)
Really? No wonder they shortened it, lol. Should I remove the warning I gave the IP? - JuneGloom07 Talk? 19:17, 13 February 2010 (UTC)
You can if you want to. I gave s/he a level 1 warning for attacking Tide rolls afterward, anyway, so it doesn't really matter much. Eagles 24/7 (C) 19:21, 13 February 2010 (UTC)
Ok. I think I'll leave it, as the edit did disrupt the article. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 19:25, 13 February 2010 (UTC)

User:Insideairtran

I hadn't seen that user, so I don't know. However, I have filed a report at WP:AN3. Because I made a revert on the article myself, I do not feel sufficiently independent to block for 3RR in this case. If you think a sock report needs filed also, let me know; however, there's probably enough quacking that the report won't go through. —C.Fred (talk) 02:15, 14 February 2010 (UTC)

Actually, looking at the IP's history—including a sockblock—I'm going to say that there's enough quacking to block the IP again and indefinitely block the user. —C.Fred (talk) 02:18, 14 February 2010 (UTC)

Much help appreciated

Please help me with the players that have been taken off IR. Theres too too TOO many for one person to deal with Stealthninja545 (talk) 06:32, 14 February 2010 (UTC)

Hello, I note that you have commented on the first phase of Wikipedia:Requests for comment/Biographies of living people

As this RFC closes, there are two proposals being considered:

  1. Proposal to Close This RfC
  2. Alternate proposal to close this RFC: we don't need a whole new layer of bureaucracy

Your opinion on this is welcome. Okip 02:16, 24 February 2010 (UTC)

do you think that the article “Uncle”_Robert_Juarez would come under section a7 for criteria for speedy deletion? --Abb615 (talk) 20:02, 28 February 2010 (UTC)

I think you should nominate it for AfD, since it may be contested that it meets notability (I don't think so however), just glancing over it. Eagles 24/7 (C) 20:03, 28 February 2010 (UTC)
