We learned about Jade in class a little bit but it was nice to learn more about it in depth. Maybe try talking about Chinese culture more to prove how important and expensive the gem really is.

Good intro on Chinese folk art. I knew a little about jade but how that it has more uses rather than just jewelry. The idea of its representation of love, strength, purity, and luck. It is kinda funny they are also used for swords. A little irony there. If there were used for rituals it makes sense for the tie to religion. I think it would be a good idea to go deeper into the aspect of Feng shui, but I do like how you talk about jades places in that. Good start
