Conflict of interest[edit]

Hi, considering that you only edit the Gangaji and Eli Jaxon-Bear articles, and only edit those articles in a way to flatter these people, I've become concerned that you have a conflict of interest - that is, you are probably closely related to these people and their interests. COI is strongly discouraged on Wikipedia. If you continue to remove, hide, and spin unflattering information, like Eli's affair, I'll be forced to bring up your behavior at Wikipedia:Conflict of interest/Noticeboard. I've tried to work with you in the past, but removing an open letter to the public and calling it "inaccurate" is going over the line. --JaGatalk 19:19, 23 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

OK. I think you should take a break from editing the Eli article. You keep trying to paint everything in the most flattering light possible. This is not meant to be an advertisement for Eli or his organization. It is an encyclopedia article. I know you're editing in good faith, but I've made you aware of the dangers of conflict of interest to unbiased writing, and yet you continue to spin the Eli article. If this continues I'll be forced to do something about it, so please, back away from it, and if you do want to edit it in the future, keep with facts, not advert language. Thanks, --JaGatalk 06:31, 2 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Adoption?[edit]

Hey, I was wondering, do you know where I could confirm that the student/teacher Eli was having his affair with was someone he and Gangaji were considering for adoption? I've come across this in forums but can't find RS to verify it. Thanks, --JaGatalk 07:08, 6 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry I don't know. I've seen the refs you refer to, but don't know how you would verify them.Earthboathjb25 (talk) 22:23, 10 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Eli Jaxon-Bear has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

This appears to be a promotional page of a self-published writer and self-proclaimed spiritual teacher, sourced mostly to the website of the subject's organization and the subject's own books. The publisher, "New Morning Associates, Incorporated", is not a general publisher, but publishes only books by the subject.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
