Image copyright problem with Image:91 large.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:91 large.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

Proposed deletion of Hamish Hartlett[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Hamish Hartlett, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

Does not meet WP:ATHLETE as he has not played a first team match with a fully professional club

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:2003-06-25-anthony.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 10:11, 10 April 2009 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. feydey (talk) 10:11, 10 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Better source request for File:Dom cassisi.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Dom cassisi.jpg. You provided a source, but it is difficult for other users to examine the copyright status of the image because the source is incomplete. Please consider clarifying the exact source so that the copyright status may be checked more easily. It is best to specify the exact web page where you found the image, rather than only giving the source domain or the URL of the image file itself. Please update the image description with a URL that will be more helpful to other users in determining the copyright status.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source in a complete manner. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Your deletion of the strange trade[edit]

Please read the supplied references before you delete things, as you did here. As I said in my edit summary, I don't understand why they did it, I haven't seen any reference to it in any story, but it was listed in the AFL trade tracker (which I have moved to a more prominent location than were it was in the title).The-Pope (talk) 13:14, 8 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image File:Port-Away-2010.gif[edit]

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Port-Away-2010.gif. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

PLEASE NOTE:

  • I am a bot, and will therefore not be able to answer your questions.
  • I will remove the request for deletion if the file is used in an article once again.
  • If you receive this notice after the image is deleted, and you want to restore the image, click here to file an un-delete request.
  • To opt out of these bot messages, add {{bots|deny=DASHBot}} to your talk page.
  • If you believe the bot has made an error, please turn it off here and leave a message on my owner's talk page.

Warning about an edit summary you made[edit]

I'm not going to start taking sides in your Port debate, but you have to back off from edit summaries like [1]. Read WP:NPA. Some admins would give you a 24 hr block instantly for personal attacks like that. Think twice before you post and think if it's really that important. However, it was a very good move by you to start up the discussion on the talk page. Cheers, The-Pope (talk) 15:06, 12 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Caretaker coach[edit]

Hi Eathb. I agree with you that Primus is a caretaker coach, but edit warring over this isn't a valid approach, as you are well past three reverts and thus you are open to sanctions as a result. Guinea pig warrior has been warned, and if the editor continues may well be blocked - but personally I'd rather not see that happen to either of you. :) I think Guinea pig warrior has accepted that Primus is not a full coach, although he still seems reluctant to accept "caretaker", so maybe more discussions on Talk:Port Adelaide Magpies Football Club will help. Otherwise you have alternative means of dispute resolution which may help work things out. - Bilby (talk) 02:29, 13 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Fair enough, but the article should be under my edits not his::

I knew all along he was a care taker but I don't won't you putting it next to his name. You wouldn't put "senior coach" to another coaches name. GuineaPigWarrior 16:30, 13 July, 2010.

Your recent edits[edit]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 06:17, 13 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article Daniel Bass has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

rookie listed player with no senior games

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

A tag has been placed on Template:Port Adelaide Football Club Squad requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section T3 of the criteria for speedy deletion because it is a deprecated or orphaned template. After seven days, if it is still unused and the speedy deletion tag has not been removed, the template will be deleted.

If the template is intended to be substituted, please feel free to remove the speedy deletion tag and please consider putting a note on the template's page indicating that it must be substituted so as to avoid any future mistakes (<noinclude>{{substituted}}</noinclude>).

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by visiting the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. The-Pope (talk) 16:25, 21 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
