Reverted Edit on People v. Turner

[edit]

Hey, on People v. Turner, in this edit, you changed the "sexually assaulted" to "raped" in the first paragraph. I'm letting you know that I reverted that, because under California Law, Turner was convicted of sexual assault and not rape, and the action described is considered rape under California law. That change could be seen as Defamation, which could get the encyclopedia in legal trouble.

Your edit's description was just given as "fixed typo"; the way I usually see the term 'typo' used usually refers to an accidental error, often from hitting the wrong key or inserting a homophone for the word, rather than deliberate word choice (and, in this case, a word choice which was not incorrect). In the future, I recommend giving more descriptive edit summaries, lest people think you're attempting to be deliberately misleading. Hppavilion1 (talk) 01:07, 12 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
