Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, articles should not be moved, as you did to Glasgow Times, without good reason. They should have a name that is both accurate and intuitive. Wikipedia has some guidelines in place to help with this. Generally, a page should only be moved to a new title if the current name doesn't follow these guidelines. Also, if a page move is being discussed, consensus needs to be reached before anybody moves the page. If you would like to experiment with page titles and moving, please use the test Wikipedia. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. —C.Fred (talk) 16:45, 1 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Glasgow Times. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. —C.Fred (talk) 16:52, 1 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Harry Holman (footballer) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, a group of people, an individual animal, an organization (band, club, company, etc.), web content, or an organized event that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Billy Reid[edit]

No, it just means your stub lacked important things like an infobox and categories... GiantSnowman 16:36, 21 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Roger Hunt[edit]

Roger Hunt wasn't ever knighted, so his name isn't Sir Roger Hunt. As it says in the article: He continued to be known as "Sir" Roger Hunt by the Liverpool supporters, despite the absence of a formal knighthood. Joseph2302 (talk) 08:20, 30 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

HI. Please stop removing Brian Laundrie from the October 2021 list of deaths. At least until one month has passed - if he has not generated an article of his own or recieved substantial bio through redirect by that time, he can be removed as per the norm at the project. In the very unlikely event that his actual date of death becomes confirmed, he can be moved from his "(death announced on this date)" position to that actual date. Thanks. Ref (chew)(do) 21:01, 23 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Deaths in 2021. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. You were asked nicely above, but you continue to remove him, therefore you now receive a vandalism warning. --Marbe166 (talk) 22:56, 23 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
3RR+? Why have you continued to remove Brian Laundrie when it has clearly been explained why he is logically included in Deaths in October 2021? You are only allowed three reverts under the rules, so I suggest you desist right now. Ref (chew)(do) 23:03, 23 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Yet another revert. Please read and follow what the editors above said. Nukualofa (talk) 17:37, 24 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
And another identical removal today. Reversed on the basis of what has been explained to you as clearly as possible and on more than one occasion. You do need to stop. Ref (chew)(do) 19:30, 27 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - The Canine Mutiny, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent. If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". Request reason:

I will be very careful about editing in the future and edit less Echo2019a (talk) 18:01, 3 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Your edits weren't a matter of carelessness, they were deliberate vandalism. You'll need to provide examples of specific edits you wish to make and convinced us you will not be disruptive in the future. I am declining your request. 331dot (talk) 18:06, 3 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Notice

The article Robert Donnelly (footballer) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Article fails GNG. I can't find much significant coverage on this player. He played a season and a half with Clyde but never attracted much media attention.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
