I see that you recently edited the Wikipedia page for decision analysis, and appear to have removed all information about software packages. I would like to understand the reasons for this. Was that just an accident? Do you feel that the list of software packages was too incomplete to be useful? Is it inappropriate on Wikipedia to include software packages (including commercial software) on a page like this? Should they be given their own page? I feel that the page would be more useful if it did include a pointer to software, but want to understand the motivations for your changes before making any further edits. Hi, Riskanal. It was not me who removed the software section on the decision analysis page. In fact, it was the user MrOllie if you check the history record. I actually added two software platforms commonly used in decision analysis. After I did this, MrOllie removed the section and provided explanation as to why. I invite you to view his edits: https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Decision_analysis&action=history

Please let me know if that helps and makes sense. Ecnepsyar (talk) 15:48, 12 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
