Welcome and introduction[edit]

Hi, Ecole1910. This is NOT some automated message...it's from a real person. You can talk to me right now. Welcome to Wikipedia! I noticed you've just joined, and wanted to give you a few tips to get you started. If you have any questions, please talk to us. The tips below should help you to get started. Best of luck!  Chzz  ►  22:06, 15 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

ようこそ
  • You don't need to read anything - anybody can edit; just go to an article and edit it. Be Bold, but please don't put silly stuff in - it will be removed very quickly, and will annoy people.
  • Ask for help. Talk to us live, or edit this page, put {{helpme}} and describe what help you need. Someone will reply very quickly - usually within a few minutes.
  • Edit existing articles, before you make your own. Look at some subjects that you know about, and see if you can make them a bit better. For example, Wikipedia:Cleanup#2009.
  • When you're ready, read about Your first article. It should be about something well-known, and it will need references.

Good luck with editing; please drop me a line some time on my own talk page.

There's lots of information below. Once again, welcome to the fantastic world of Wikipedia!

Re. love, semi-protected edit request[edit]

Hi there.

Regarding your suggestions for edits to the article Love

  • First of all, thank you very much for your suggestions
  • Next, there is some question about your user name, and your use of the word "we". Wikipedia accounts (user names) should only be used by one person; each individual should have their own account.
  • Regarding the 'editsemiprotected' request - I noted on talk:Love that some of the things contained in the suggestion are not necessarily covered by the references that you provided.
  • I think that it would be much easier if you could edit the article yourself. I checked on the protection status, and unfortunately, due to excessive vandalism, it will remain semi-protected; however, you will be able to edit semi-protected articles when your account is just four days old, and when you have made 10 or more edits. These edits can be to any page, such as the test page suggested above, or to the sandbox.
  • I have therefore cancelled the requests for now, hoping that you will agree to simply wait a few days, and then make the edits yourself; please do ensure that the edits are well-referenced.
If you have any questions, please place {{helpme}} on this page, followed by your question.
