Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Ford Territory may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "[]"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:
 • L DOHC straight-six petrol engine only for the RWD Territory, and a [turbo charged direct injection 2.7 L engine V6 engine marketed as "Duratorq" for

Prices

[edit]

Hi, great work on edits to Australian car articles lately! I thought I would let you know about WP:NOPRICES as you have been including retail prices. This practise is discouraged because prices change all the time, an encyclopaedia's role does not cover that of a price catalogue, and if you include Australian prices, then what about export market prices? It can get complicated. Rather than saying: "At launch, the price was A$34,990 for variant X...", I would put it as "At launch, prices ranged from c. A$35,000–55,000." Hmmmm I am still on my Learner plates and feel free to amuse yourself with this millionth version of my reply! I recall with the Magna lead box picture (no, I don't want to go back there...) that someone commented the various protocols are not mandatory, so I took them to be kind of best practice only. I see the logic in not including every commercial award under the sun and have stopped doing that accordingly, but with retail prices at launch I think that's different. It is factual information that I have now added for each series, so as not to make one stand out more than the other inconsistenly. If prices were included only for a series (as they were just for the SZ when you looked) then, fair enough, it would be odd. Territory now has retail prices for each of its series, at the same point in time (i.e. launch) and not random timeframes to remove the issue of price changes over time. Being Australian cars (and, to be honest, not knowing any better), I have not cared about export prices... Prices for every series can help with seeing how much each facelift cost, at the same comparable time. Hope all of this justifies the extra content. I won't bother doing so elsewhere if it's a big issue. Cheers :) Editoriummm (talk)09:58, 14 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, I forgot about this as I did not watchlist this page. I have replied at Talk:Mitsubishi Magna#WP:NOPRICES. OSX (talkcontributions) 01:29, 20 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Unblocking

[edit]

Hi Editoriummm,

As you would know, your account has been blocked. If you wish to request an unblocking, I would support you in this cause as I feel you have now learned from your prior mistakes in abusing multiple accounts. I believe that the only page you can edit is this one, so please reply below. Cheers, OSX (talkcontributions) 04:24, 26 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks OSX I appreciate this and, above all, the comical second time that you have had to revert back to my changes because of Dennis Brown's overzealous approach... sorry for giving you the extra work! I don't see much point in appealing and I am glad for the article improvements I encouraged. Try as you might, the actions of some of these moderators (if that's what they are called) will only result in people being wronged even when they try to do the right thing, as I was. I am surprised that the price justification was considered as warring! Have a good weekend and stay out of trouble lol 12:29, 27 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
