Welcome![edit]

Hello, Editorlok, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as Gregory's Food Service Group S.A., may not conform to some of Wikipedia's content policies and may not be retained. In short, the topic of an article must be notable and have already been the subject of publication by reliable and independent sources.

Please review Your first article for an overview of the article creation process. The Article Wizard is available to help you create an article, where it will be reviewed and considered for publication. For information on how to request a new article that can be created by someone else, see Requested articles. If you are stuck, come to the Teahouse, where experienced Wikipedians can help you through the processes.

A tag has been placed on Gregory's Food Service Group S.A., requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. A tag has been placed on Yossi Erblich, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. You claim that your text was a translation from he-wiki, but I can't see where you have said that in an edit summary or in the text. Unacknowledged copying, even in translation, is a copyright violation.

Different Wikipedias set their own rules, and what is acceptable elsewhere may not be on en-wiki. Both the SD nominator and I thought this was blatant advertising.

If you have a conflict of interest, you must declare it, please don't write about yourself, your friends or relatives and read the guidance below:

  • When you write about a person, you must provide independent verifiable sources to enable us to verify the facts and show that they meet the notability guidelines. Sources that are not acceptable include those linked to the person or an associated organisation, press releases, YouTube, IMDB, social media and other sites that can be self-edited, blogs, websites of unknown or non-reliable provenance, and sites that are just reporting what the person claims or interviewing them. Note that references should be in-line so we can tell what fact each is supporting, and should not be bare urls.
  • Many of your references appear to be to fairly niche outlets, rather than mainstream media, and I'm not sure that they are acceptable as reputable independent third-party sources. In any case, several seem to be interviews or reporting what he says rather than uninvolved coverage.
  • It's not clear he meets our notability criteria linked above. He set up some businesses, but that's not notable, anyone can do that. You say Receives the President's Medal for volunteering immediately State President Yitzhak Herzog., but there is no verification of that claim
  • You must write in a non-promotional tone. Articles must be neutral and encyclopaedic, with verifiable facts, not opinions or reviews.
  • medical he gained from his experience... was established For the sake of the community', which aims to expand cooperation between consultants and doctors.
  • More to the point, much of your text is not about him, but is a blatant promo for his company. There are few real facts such as the number of employees, management structure, turnover or profits and plenty of "this is what we do" with vague unsourced or self-sourced claims like there are those who find it difficult to navigate inside the bureaucracy of the public medical system; Some patients believe that they were not properly diagnosed by the doctors who treated them, and request to receive another opinion or a more comprehensive diagnosis free of charge... the association engages in the training of "medical consultants", who their purpose is to provide guidance for appropriate medical consultation and diagnosis... In order to make medical information accessible, Erblich and the organization's doctors publish dozens of columns and articles every year in the written press and online. If you think his company is notable, write a separate article, don't just make it an unacceptable addition to a biography.
  • There shouldn't be any url links in the article, only in the "References" or "External links" sections.
  • You must not copy text from elsewhere. Copyrighted text is not allowed in Wikipedia, as outlined in this policy. That applies even to pages created by you or your organisation, unless they state clearly and explicitly that the text is public domain. We require that text posted here can be used, modified and distributed for any purpose, including commercial; text is considered to be copyright unless explicitly stated otherwise. There are ways to donate copyrighted text to Wikipedia, as described here; please note that simply asserting on the talk page that you are the owner of the copyright, or you have permission to use the text, isn't sufficient.
  • I didn't check, although I notice that mmost of your text has no wikilinks, not even Yitzhak Herzog or oncology

Before attempting to write an article again, please make sure that the topic meets the notability criteria linked above, and check that you can find independent third party sources. Also read Your first article. If you are writing about yourself, or someone you know as a friend, colleague, client, employer or relative, you have a conflict of interest, and you must disclose the nature of that COI Jimfbleak - talk to me? 14:35, 27 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I understand your point, and my aim is to contribute my knowledge of Hebrew language and culture to both the English and Greek versions of Wikipedia by adding new content. I plan to completely rewrite the page. Editorlok (talk) 10:36, 28 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
