April 2021[edit]

Information icon Hello, Editzzzluther, welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. Your editing pattern indicates that you may be using multiple accounts or coordinating editing with people outside Wikipedia. Our policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow this, and users who misuse multiple accounts may be blocked from editing. If you operate multiple accounts directly or with the help of another person, please disclose these connections. Thank you. TheSandDoctor Talk 17:28, 18 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I don't know who is Nexusadams. I'm an avid web series watcher, and hence I try to edit or create Wikipedia pages on the same. Sons of the Soil : Jaipur Pink Panthers was one such web series for which I didn't find a Wikipedia page and so I created a draft for it. I have just started my journey on Wikipedia and am unaware of many rules which I admit. I request you to please withdraw the edit ban so that I can continue with my contributions. Also, I apologize for any misunderstandings. Editzzzluther (talk) 18:24, 18 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

You are not blocked from editing at this time? What is the full error message that you receive when attempting to edit pages other than this current one? --TheSandDoctor Talk 22:54, 18 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Yes I am, It's stating "You do not have permission to edit this page, for the following reason: This account has been blocked from editing Wikipedia. Editing from ‪Nexusadams‬ has been blocked (disabled) by ‪TheSandDoctor‬ for the following reason(s):Abusing multiple accounts: Please see: w:en:Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Editzzzluther" Editzzzluther (talk) 06:37, 19 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

That just definitively proves that you are either Nexusadams or share the same IP with them. --TheSandDoctor Talk 15:14, 19 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I believe this is a misinterpretation and I genuinely want to contribute to Wikipedia in my area of interest. I request you to please overturn the ban and I feel sorry for this unexpected mishap. I can assure you that I'll definitely be cautions with my future contributions and this will act as a learning curve. Editzzzluther (talk) 18:18, 19 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon
You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for abusing multiple accounts. Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  TheSandDoctor Talk 00:52, 20 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

I would like to emphasis that my contributions have been legitimate. I would request you to please cancel the ban and grant me another chance. As a beginner there might be some unintended contributions, but I can assure you that I'll be be more cautions on my future actions. Editzzzluther (talk) 06:47, 20 April 2021 (UTC)

Decline reason:

This does not address the stated reason for the block, the use of multiple accounts. 331dot (talk) 08:56, 20 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

I'm extremely sorry, after thoroughly going through the Wikipedia guidelines, I want to admit that I know Nexusadams as he's my friend. We joined Wikipedia in order to make productive contributions. Our intentions while doing edits or creating a draft has always been in good faith. Our contributions have never been to "mislead other editors, disrupt discussions, distort consensus, avoid sanctions, evade blocks, or otherwise violate community standards and policies as mentioned in Wikipedia:Sockpuppetry. We make sure that our contributions adhere to Wikipedia guidelines and rework on the feedbacks shared. I request you to please unblock us as we have understood our mistake and feel apologetic for the same. Editzzzluther (talk) 21:20, 20 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

You've gone from denying any connection to Nexusadams to claiming that you're friends and joined Wikipedia together. Given the high amount of UPE that we've seen related to topics that you've edited, I see no reason to believe that you aren't simply part of the same paid editing group. signed, Rosguill talk 18:31, 21 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
