Judging by the original article, and comparing it to your sandbox, I see that you’ve added quite a lot of substantial information. Over all, the organization is good and easy to read. However the information you’ve added regarding how to read a pedigree chart, I would probably separate that from the “In human genealogy” section, and create a whole new section and heading for it. Possibly after the definition and before the “In human genealogy” would be a great spot for it. You’ve pinpointed almost all the important aspects of how to read a pedigree chart, but there are more “markings”, I guess you would say, that people might know about and you can include in addition to what you’ve added. Maybe you would refer to this image: http://carrier.pbworks.com/f/pedigreeSymbols.jpg, and see what I’m talking about. Also including a picture of a pedigree chart that’s labeled wouldn’t hurt either. You have minor spacing and grammar issues, but overall, you did a really good job! Feedback by Chris Hicks[edit]

Great article over all. There are very few individuals who are aware of what pedigrees are and how coats of arms pertain to them. Many people would assume by their last name that is their family name and they are entitled to that arm. Very well done examples of pedigrees, along with explanations of what the symbols are. Minor corrections are needed but over all very well done article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by ChrisHicksBio619 (talkcontribs) 04:03, 7 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
