Speedy deletion of Dito Godwin[edit]

A tag has been placed on Dito Godwin requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

{unblock| The purpose of these entries are to highlight the career of Dito Godwin, who has had and continues to have an impact on the music industry. During the course of my research, notable people and organizations involved such as Stephen Duffy, Kevin Carlberg, Stand Up Against Cancer who are involved in current projects Dito Godwin is working on as well as organizations such as the University of Sound Arts, TNT Records, among others from his past works were not present and did not have entries, thus I researched and provided entries. I have since found other references, such as "The Story of Gwen Stefani", where Gowdin is highlighted in the book among others.

Being new to the guidelines, I did not fully read and understand them. I have since familiarized myself with these guidelines and will not update any further entries without making sure all guidelines are followed and I do apologize. I am certainly not doing anything regarding spam or ads as suggested here. I request to be unblocked with the understanding that all guidelines will be carefully followed in the future. The unblock will also allow me to request a user name change that is in accordance with user name policies, realizing now that the selection of "efmrecords" was in violation. I have read the guidelines of the user name policy and shall request a user name change accordingly.}

In response to Blueboy ... Currently I am interested in completing my article on Dito Godwin and related notable people and organizations. For instance I have found additional organizations and artists in association with Godwin that do not have entries since my article. Greg Sutton being one for example, Sutton played with Bob Dylan and has written multiple hits for various artists including Dolly Parton. I am still researching, but from what I have found he has had at least 10 "hits" across various artist. Kevin Carlberg additionally has no entry, although I am still researching to see if he fits the guidelines. The more I dig into the 30 years career of Godwin the more I find. As far as editing, I certainly would like to edit existing articles where Godwin is noted, but has no link since his article did not exist until I put it together. Music is a large interest of mine, especially older contributions like those of Godwin that have not been added. My initial interest in Godwin spawned from the Charity work he is currently doing. I had not heard of him, but once I dug around, I found he had quite the industry impacting career as you can see from my initial article. I suppose Musical History is a very large interest of mine, especially those that do not have articles yet as well as newer folks that haven't been entered as well as a result of the older ones, however I know there are guidelines on that now. My other interests include classical art and music as well as modern art. For instance I recently viewed a charcoal sketch Van Go in Houston, TX that I never knew even existed and that is currently being showed.

I also am now more familiar with the sandbox. I posted multiple updates for real when they were not yet ready for release. I will certainly get my articles and article updates in better order prior to posting moving forward.

I admit I did not fully research the guidelines and my actions were a result of being "new" to everything. I will make sure I follow these guidelines moving forward and I hope everyone can accept my deepest apologies for the violation. Since The Godwin label was new and on my brain, I just entered it. I had not read ANY of the guidelines when I setup the account. So I didn't have a clue as to the fact that I was committing a violation.

Thank you for considering unblock, I now know that I did clearly violated guidelines, however it was completely unintentional as I certainly wish to maintain the integrity of this organization.
