Thanks for the fix in the talker bit too. I'm not sure why my edits got reverted. Having sample examples of MUSHes in an article that only vaguely links to MUSHes as a disambiguation is not neutral, and I think that they have to be removed. Asserting that the GOD/WIZ/USER idea is only for nuts-type talkers and doesn't apply to ew-too isn't neutral either. I was just a bit confused how to word that, since it'd be good to explain that. But the user levels vary talker to talker, not ew-too to nuts. Anyway, all my edits got reverted, so I am not bothering with it anymore. The article generally looks pretty good I think, but its a bit messy. The whole thing with providing examples over something like this is because people have loyalty to one place over another, and then you have fights over which one is best. That's why there were only the 11 examples given, each with a specific reason for their inclusion, notability wise, and in terms of the history. Including any more without referencing their historical status is biased. Anyway, thanks for your bit. I don't really know much about talkers - I only noticed the article because it linked to MUSH. I'd guess that all the bits about software specifics (like the permission levels) would be better off in a separate article on the talker codebase in question - as many of the MUD codebases have. I also think the MUSH/MUCK/etc examples are unnecessary, especially since the actual MUSH article doesn't list specific games. I don't really feel strongly enough about it to revert someone else about it, though. Ehheh 17:55, 5 April 2006 (UTC)

I actually appreciate you’re looking out for it.

I reviewed the Rikki Lee Travolta files and I see where you’re coming from. His fans are about the most over zealous ever seen. It’s pretty common knowledge, that religious fever they have. That’s why he was hired as the first big guest star investment for TnT. There were fans traveling from state to state to see him as he moved from show to show. That’s why he was cast.

Understanding your concerns, rest assured that Rikki Lee was the first big time guest star (there was a minor guest star test with Meloa that went okay too, but he’s never been national). Please don’t take my word for it. Just look at the history of the entire article from day 1. Also look at the sources sited.

Also while there continues to be a nice relationship with John Mendoza (he no longer uses the Stuttering John moniker) he wasn’t one of the more major celebrities used over the year. That is not to downplay his value. Every guest star and every cast member is valued. He only did one night a week and was not yet on the Tonight Show, just a player on a radio show. We appreciate his place in history of TnT and his contributions, but it would be false to list him as one of our major celebrities much less our first.

Please, also, consider the source of the individual who tried to pass off John as the premier celebrity guest star for the show; it you look at the record - KevinMutt also tried to claim “the bagel boy” was the first big guest star. It’s vandalism. Goofy vandalsim.

Protocol says I have to tag a please don’t vandalize notation. I appreciate what you’re trying to do, though, Don’t take it personal. It’s simple a flag that we have to put up but we can disregard as we all progress together. My RfC again

I see you left this edit summary: "revert - Please don't remove other sections, and more importantly don't revert other people's endorsements of the statement of dispute" I did not intend to remove any other people's endorsements from the dispute. My own statements got reverted out while multiple users were editing at the same time. I tried to revert back and put in the relevent endorsements where they belonged. Fix Redirects to Lost Colony Game

Please revert the edit. We can take this to a discussion if you want that? Walker plays on the Nysted album. It is verifiable. The project wants it up there. AMG is a verifiable; reliable resource. Misc. complaints

Hello, You keep removing We101.com from the page about blog aggregators. You cite the reason as "advertising." We101.com is a legitimate aggregator of local blogs and as appropriate an external link as the other external links on the page. Speedy deletion of Mr.Reszel

Based on your speedy deletion nomination of Mr.Reszel, you may want to review the definition of patent nonsense. While criteria A1 seems to be useful for "nonsense" articles like Mr.Reszel, it really only applies to articles whose only content is, as my high school English teacher would say, gobbeldygook. Articles that aren't random characters or word salad but are still "nonsense", can be speedied under another criteria, like A7, or sent to PROD or AFD. Grid computing

While I agree that the links on that page are a mess and need a lot of work tidying up (probably putting bits out to a separate page) it's not a linkfarm. MMORTS List removal

Hi, you removed the link to the list of MMORTS games http://www.mmorts.com/index.php?cmd=games from [[2]]I was just wondering how it doesn't meet the criteria for eligibility given that the wikipedia page does not include a comprehensive list of games itself?

Hi! I've noticed you frantically removing the link to TRUTNEE Laser Tag Portal. What's the idea of your efforts? This Laser Tag Portal is a reliable and well-known source of laser tag information and removing the link to it from "External Links" section reduces the possibility of the wiki-visitor to get the full-scale industry's information. Just take a couple of minutes and visit TRUTNEE Laser Tag Portal yourself. Count the number of laser tag systems and manufacturers with appropriate descriptions and interviews with manufacturers' representatives enlisted there and compare to the list at Wikipedia, for example. User JCSCEFA Links

I have spent the last 20 minutes trying to figure out how to "myTalk" I am not even sure if this is how to do it. I just saw the comments on the links and content I added on Friday and today. I am new to Wiki updates, and am sorry for the hassel. I see that you have deleted update where I added 'closed-end funds' to the 'exchange-traded funds' when CEFs are the investment company structure that ETFs were formed from. I will work to stay inside the guide lines of Wiki, George Scott, who has co-authored the only hard back book, (500 pages) on CEFS and it is used in gradute level finance classes, "Investing in CEFs: Finding Value and Building Wealth" is the editior and publisher of The Scott Letter, in print 1988-1996 and online since 2001. The newsletter is very well read and endourced by the industry. It has interviews with CEF fund managers and other pertinent articles. The only "marketing-esk notation" on the back page above our logo it simply says that we do mange money in 4 styles. (and it lists them). The Closed-End Fund Forum, is run by Capital Link, which is a shareholder relations comapany. They are private and In it to make money - how are we different. The reason I added the links to our website, is we do offer a valuable primary info service, which does expose people to our company. George was first a journalist and then a invemtment manager. Meybe the link needs to be reworded - in regrds to our links, I want people to know there is this information avialable to help them learn about the funds. In regards to the info I added on the ETF, MF, REIT and CEF pages that didnt 'pomote our newsletter or website' I believe the bulk of it was valuable. I do understand that being new I have some to learn. I am not one for spamming. It is a fact that there are two private firms (w/ websites) that are the "CEF Gurus". Tom Herzfeld in Miami, and us in Richmond, Va. The CEF association is also a great resource (and we have worked closley with them since their formation.) In conclusion, I will be more careful on what I type, but I feel the editor(s) have been a little overreaching in deleting worthwhile content and info.
