[edit]
Your account has been indefinitely blocked from editing because it has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia. Also, your username gives the impression that the account represents a business, organisation, group, or web site, which is against the username policy.

If you intend to make useful contributions instead of promoting your business or organization, you may request unblock and a username change. In your reasons, you must follow all these steps:

  1. Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the paid-contribution disclosure requirement; and
  2. Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked; and
  3. Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked; and
  4. Provide a new username.

To do this, insert the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked.

Please note that the new username you choose cannot already be taken and in use by another account. You can search to see if the username you'd like to choose is available. If the search returns that no global account with that username exists, that means it is still available.

Appeals: If, after reviewing the guide to appealing blocks, you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal it by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the page.

Requested username:

Request reason:

I am the admin for the company Einweit Technologies. I wanted to create a nice article about the company and hence I used company email Id and username without knowing that this may violate the Wikipedia norms. The new username will be Sangeetha who is the correct person for this account. Kindly unblock the account Einweit Technologies (talk) 09:34, 24 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Please, while here, excise the word "solutions" from your vocabulary unless you are discussing mixtures of chemicals(see WP:SOLUTIONS). That's just marketing puffery. You will need to be familiar with WP:PROMO, WP:COI, and WP:PAID before you are permitted to edit, please review those policies and tell us what will change about your future editing; you'll also likely need to agree to refrain from editing about your company anytime soon. 331dot (talk) 09:50, 24 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I fixed the formatting issues with your request, and used the proper template to request a new username for you(please review the block notice carefully in the future). I also placed it at the bottom- please place all edits below other edits, to keep them in order. This may be easier to do if you click "edit" and not "reply"; the reply feature does not always work well. You may use any email address you wish, that is a separate issue from your username. As you work for the company, the Terms of Use require you to declare as a paid editor. You should also read conflict of interest. Wikipedia is not a database of companies that exist- there is criteria for inclusion, WP:ORG, that must be met, as shown with significant coverage in independent reliable sources. Is there anything you want to write about other than your company? 331dot (talk) 09:41, 24 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Yes I would like to write about the new technology, state of the art solutions etc Einweit Technologies (talk) 09:45, 24 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
It's not about any chemical solutions. A solution is or can never be only a chemical solution. I meant it is about the state of the art methods or proven in use designs in technology to solve some difficult problems. in other words solution to a problem. I can contribute to edit and review based on the facts and references without any intention to promote my or any other company or gain profit as such. Hope you understood my reply. Einweit Technologies (talk) 10:00, 24 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
As I said, "solutions" in this context is just marketing or promotional puffery; at least on this project to write a neutrally worded encyclopedia. Again, please read WP:SOLUTIONS. You may make a new request for someone else to review in which you do as I asked in my decline of your previous request. 331dot (talk) 10:05, 24 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
As I see there is no proper change handling in Wikipedia. For instance, the page editor should show some errors related to the article if it doesn't match with the Wikipedia policies before hand. This will save lot of time and avoid mistakes. All in all, Wikipedia editing is complex topic and not user friendly in nature. As someone new to Wikipedia editing will have a very bad experience. I rate the user experience 1 in a band of 1 to 10. Thank you Einweit Technologies (talk) 10:24, 24 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
It is true that there is a learning curve. It isn't as easy as say, social media, but it isn't meant to be. This is why it is usually recommended that creating a new article not be the first thing that people do, they should first edit existing articles, to understand how Wikipedia works and what is expected of article content. Using the new user tutorial is a good idea, too. But how people choose to participate is up to them. The "user experience" is important, but our main goal is to write an encyclopedia, not just make it easy to edit(which would result in its own problems)
Unfortunately it's not possible to just program the page editor with policies so that improper edits are prevented that way. There is too much nuance and interpretation involved for some automatic process like that. The best way is simply to learn by doing. 331dot (talk) 10:29, 24 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Someone else will review your request, but they will have a hard time believing that you reviewed and understand the relevant policies in the last few minutes. You need to demonstrate that you understand, not just tell us that you do. 331dot (talk) 10:31, 24 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
If there are facts, evidences and references to any topic then it is nothing else but true. Anyways, I have agreed to go through the policies before publishing on Wikipedia in future. So what's the big deal in not accepting such claims. Einweit Technologies (talk) 10:51, 24 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
We have many editors who say that they understand our policies, and then once unblocked go right back to doing the same thing wrong, which wastes everyone's time(including the editor). We need you to demonstrate your understanding. 331dot (talk) 10:55, 24 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I have understood the following WP so far.
  1. Neutral Point of View (NPOV): Articles must present information fairly and without bias, representing all significant viewpoints accurately.
  2. Verifiability: All content must be backed by reliable sources that can be checked. Unsourced material may be removed. No Original Research: Wikipedia is not a platform for publishing original ideas or research. Information must be previously published by a credible source.
  3. Citing Sources: Proper citations are required to support statements. Reliable sources include books, scholarly articles, reputable news outlets, and other well-established publications.
  4. Notability: Subjects of articles should be notable, meaning they have received significant coverage in reliable sources independent of the subject.
  5. Avoid Promotional Content: Articles should not serve as advertisements. Content should be informative and not promotional.
  6. Respect for Others: Engage respectfully with other editors, avoid edit wars, and follow the dispute resolution process for conflicts.
  7. Neutral Language: Avoid words that imply judgment, bias, or opinion. Stick to factual descriptions and avoid loaded terms or promotional language.
  8. Clarity and Simplicity: Use clear, simple language that can be easily understood by a general audience. Avoid jargon, technical terms, or complex language unless necessary, and provide explanations or links to definitions when used.
  9. Conciseness: Be concise. Avoid unnecessary words or overly detailed descriptions that do not contribute to the reader's understanding of the topic.
  10. Formal Tone: Maintain a formal, encyclopedic tone. Avoid slang, colloquialisms, or conversational language.
  11. Consistency: Use consistent terminology throughout the article. For example, if you choose to use "U.S." instead of "United States," stick to that choice throughout the article.
  12. Gender-Neutral Language: Use gender-neutral language where possible, such as "they" instead of "he or she," unless the subject specifically requires gendered language.
  13. Avoid First-Person Language: Write in the third person. Avoid using "I," "we," or "you" in the text, as Wikipedia articles are not personal essays.
And some other. Einweit Technologies (talk) 11:03, 24 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
