Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

Names[edit]

Hello, thankyou for your edits. Unfortunately they are not in accordance with the Wikipedia guidelines- it is a Wikipedia rule that full names should be given at the beginning of articles, and there is no reason to have a separate "born as" section unless the last name is completely different (Wikipedia:Manual_of_Style_(biographies)#Names). In response to the comment you left on my talk page... Unless you own the copyright to the film, I believe you are mistaken in thinking that you can release that image into the public domain in this manner. The license template that would be better suited for those images, both of them, is this: {{Film-screenshot}}.

Secondly, it would have been easier for me to figure out what in the world you were talking about if you had signed your comment. You can do this by typing four tildes in a row like this: ~~~~
