I have reverted your edit as you were damaging the encyclopedia by removing the existing redirect to a disambiguation page. Please create the article again at another title, perhaps the full name of the uni or EDU (university). PamD 08:20, 2 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

And (@David Biddulph and John of Reading:) I see that you have done the same damage to the German Wikipedia with your edits, destroying the redirect from https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/EDU to "Edu" which had stood for 12 years. PamD 11:23, 2 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Managing a conflict of interest[edit]

Information icon Hello, Eleonorexoxo. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the page EDU, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your COI when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Also please note that editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. PamD 11:25, 2 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Please tell us here either that you have no connection with EDU or that you have such a connection and understand the rules about Conflict of Interest and Paid editing linked above. Thank you. PamD 17:51, 3 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hello PamD, I am a teacher in Berlin, Germany and I am trying how to publish an article on the english wikipedia page so that I can use it with my pupils in the future. I am not an english teacher, but with the colleagues I am planning to do a mini-project in the IT class. I have no connection with EDU. So I hope with this explanation I can publish the artile under the entry of EDU (university). Could you please tell me how to change the title to "EDU (university)"? Or do I have to write a new entry with that title?Eleonorexoxo (talk) 12:12, 5 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
