Thank you for your message. How do I make this page visible to others? 179.228.0.17 (talk) 20:08, 18 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I mean, I am happy with the current short page. But it does not appear as an actual wikipedia page. 179.228.0.17 (talk) 20:09, 18 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions; however, it appears you may have written a Wikipedia article, or a draft for a Wikipedia article, about yourself, at Draft:Elizabeth Gasparim. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – please see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Notable people who have edited Wikipedia). If you wish to add to or change an existing article about yourself, you are welcome to propose the changes by visiting the article's talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was the page I created deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss this with the deleting administrator. Thank you. Yes, I understand the argument about autobigraphies. However, I thought that since a description of my academic career appeared in an official interview al a major mathematical magazine https://euromathsoc.org/magazine/articles/128 this was a verifiable background and maybe satisfied the criteria. I also just noticed that I did not add the fact that I have been a Simons Associate of ICTP. Few people had those. In any case, please do not delete my page just yet. It also seems to fit into the "women in red" list for women in mathematics, in fact, my name appears listed in
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:WikiProject_Women_in_Red/Mathematics . Doesn't that mean that my page is missing? 2804:1B1:F980:5335:C00E:4495:4372:9202 (talk) 16:57, 21 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, firstly, please do try to ensure you're logged in before replying to messages. I also responded with some details at User_talk:Kj_cheetham#Elizabeth_Gasparim. Being listed at the Women in Red page doesn't mean an article is sufficiently notable to be on Wikipedia, and there is a disclaimer at the top about that. Being interviewed is also a WP:PRIMARYSOURCE, and articles are typically based on secondary sources, as per WP:PSTS. I have added a template so you can press the blue button on that to have someone review your draft, but I personally don't think it's notable I'm afraid, though would be happy to be proved wrong! Drafts don't usually get deleted until 6 months after they stop being edited, so no rush though. -Kj cheetham (talk) 19:53, 25 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for your help and your comments. I still have other things to add which might make a difference. Elizabeth Gasparim (talk) 20:22, 25 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

We have a question about that. A former student of mine was planning to make a page for me.
The question is: Can he recover the data that I already entered and just start adding to it? 2800:150:102:BE2:C94B:5554:EBFA:7A73 (talk) 16:05, 22 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, he can. He would need to add the WP:COI disclosures. I have undeleted the draft. Jay 💬 15:30, 21 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you. I have added 2 more interviews to my draft. I will talk to Bruno about merging the 2 pages. Elizabeth Gasparim (talk) 15:31, 21 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
