Kalari article[edit]

Hi elmo, thanks for your help on the article, however, I think you are confusing the Kalaripayattu martial art with dance such as kathakali. Vastu 21:34, 6 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Elmo, I hate to sound rude, but it seems you dont understand what the article is about. We are discussing the 12th century Hindu martial art known as Kalaripayattu - not what dances it can be incorporated into. I have practiced 3 martial arts, including some Kalari, I own Phillip B Zarrilli's authoratitive book on the subject (which has been referenced using inline citations throughout the article), and ive seen every documentary on it. Are you absolutely sure about what you are saying? If so, please provide a scholary citation of it. You seem to be confusing related arts, such as modern use of kalari in contemporary dance, and traditional kathakali dance, with the actual martial art. If you are not sure, then please remove the reference to martial dance, in order to avoid a situation like this: Wikipedia:Three-revert rule. Thanks for your help.
