Welcome![edit]

Hello, Elrupper, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Ian and I work with Wiki Education; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Disease[edit]

Hello, Elrupper, and welcome to Wikipedia. I saw your note about working on Disease, and I would like to encourage you specifically to see whether you can find an updated source for the numbers in the table at Disease#Burdens of disease. It currently cites a report from the World Health Organization in 2004, and it would be really helpful to have a current version of that report, assuming that they've updated it.

By the way, editing tables in the wikitext "source code" is difficult. I recommend switching to the visual editor (works approximately like Google Docs) if you're trying to edit tables. The button for switching should be in the right-hand corner of the toolbar, if you want to switch mid-edit. WhatamIdoing (talk) 16:07, 4 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
