[edit]
Your account has been blocked indefinitely from editing because of the following problems: the account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia, and your username indicates that the account represents a business, organisation, group, or web site, which is against the username policy.

You may request a change of name and unblock if you intend to make useful contributions other than promoting your business or organization. To do this, first search Special:CentralAuth for available usernames that comply with the username policy. Once you have found an acceptable username, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked. In your reasons, you must:

  • Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure requirement.
  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
Appeals: If, after reviewing the guide to appealing blocks, you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal it by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the page.

Requested username:

Request reason:

Username Policy. I was not aware about the username policy. That`s why i am requesting to change my username. I understand, why my first article was blocked and i won`t repeat to write that kind of short article again. I am new and thought i could edit the article over time again and again. I didn`t really think about it. I am not a payed emloyee. Now about the article in my draft (sandbox), i really tried hard to write a reputable, serious informating article about the video game Emagone, which doesn`t exist, already. This aricle in the sandbox took me two days already and i am still working on it. Many other articles about video games are described in Wikipedia, too. If they are paid articles, i would like to know. My question in relation to that issue is, why am i perceived as advertising, when others can write a game description as well? Therefore i am requesting to unblock my accout.

Decline reason:

Declining as unresponsive. 331dot (talk) 19:10, 28 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Do you have any association, paid or unpaid, with the makers of the game? You are being seen as advertising because your username was that of the topic you were writing about. Wikipedia is not for merely providing information; as an encyclopedia, Wikipedia summarizes what independent reliable sources with significant coverage have chosen on their own to say about a topic, showing how that topic meets Wikipedia's special definition of notability. Are there any topics that you want to write about other than this game? 331dot (talk) 12:01, 11 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
